  Do not trust this company! I don’t understand how so many home owners in my new subdivision Mason Woods have AC issues. I’m currently without AC and have a newborn baby! My house is under a year old! I should not have these kinds of problems yet! But not with Davis! They will make sure you do!! They don’t have parts in stock!!! They have to order single parts ! Makes no sense! They can’t give me an ETA or have loaner window unit!!!

  Brett (service rep) was great! Kind, knowledgeable and straightforward. Highly recommend! Oh and the lady on the phone who helped me set everything up and explain the process as a new customer was also terrific!

  Jose replaced a contactor and a capacitor for the outside unit. We have a maintenance agreement with you, so in light of that, we thought price was excessive for that amount of work and was not properly discounted. He didn't mention a discount. The parts should have been discounted since we have service/maintenance agreement. This is from Kent Moss, not Michael Moss, our son.

  Our tech was Patrick and he's our hero. With the 105 degree heat he worked on. our outside unit for several hours and got it running. again. Job well done. He was on time - communicated very well and was polite. 5 Gold Stars from me. Thanks Patrick.

  I have a dehumidifier in the attic that was originally installed by Davis AC with the house. It stopped working in November/December 2025, so I had Davis come out and inspect it. The technician said it was working as designed (without checking the refrigerant charge - actually said you can't check the charge on these units) and left after I paid my service call. I ran it another day as is and the dehumidifier never shut off and never dropped humidity in the house, so I unplugged it. In May, the house was VERY humid, so I called the manufacturer (who said they need to check the refrigerant charge) and then called Davis back out. The second tech checked the refrigerant charge and found that there was a leak somewhere and the unit needed to be replaced. The dehumidifier was under parts warranty, but I was responsible for labor. They gave me a labor quote of $1,080 and wouldn't order the new unit until I signed the agreement. When the part came in, they sent two guys out to install it and completed everything in 1 hour. I've called 3 different times trying to speak to a manager about the exorbitant labor charge and have yet to receive a call back. The 3rd person I spoke with said they charge "by the job", not by the hour. I understand that and certainly want companies to turn a profit. However, I would expect a "by the job" estimate to be charging 5 hours for a job that takes 4 hours; not charging 5 hours for a job that takes 1 hour. Davis took advantage of the situation and I don't appreciate the excess costs (unless they really are paying their employees $500/hr).
