  We recently had a problem with our AC struggling to cool our home in 100+ degree weather. We contacted Larry and his team and they were at our home the same day to take a look at our system. After a thorough inspection, they found a refrigerant leak and advised us that the compressor was on its last leg. We looked into repairing it but the cost didn’t make sense compared to a new system. Both the repair quote and the new system quote were very fair, and we ended up going with an all new Trane. Within a few days, we had it installed and all the cold air we could handle. From Larry to the install team, our experience couldn’t have been better!   In my search for an A/C contractor, I found that Larry at Total Comfort was very willing to answer my multitude of questions about the proposed system, initially on the phone and through follow-up emails. His willingness to patiently entertain my questions was a primary reason I chose them for the job. Sebastian came out to assess the scope of work to enable an accurate quote; he was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The technician, Gill, and his crew, Daniel and Guillermo, arrived on time, introduced themselves, and got straight to work. They were professional, courteous, and worked like a well-oiled machine. I have never encountered an A/C technician as impressive as Gill. His vast knowledge of HVAC was obvious, he answered my many questions with convincing confidence, and he actively encouraged me to ask questions. I will certainly be contacting Total Comfort A/C when my 10-year-old upstairs system needs replacement. Great company, highly recommended.

  I had Total come out to my home in Tomball to give me a second opinion on a quote I received for a zone cooling issue I was experiencing. The quote I received from the previous company was almost $3000, Total got my system back to running properly for $564!!!

  We have used this company for many years. They replaced our house ACs and do the ongoing maintenance. We just had them install a new split unit for our garage. As expected, they did a great job again.
