  Will never do business with these hacks ever again. I’ve been taking scrap from my auto repair shop here for the last year and never had a problem until the last time I went, they tried telling me they couldn’t take my metal because my license was expired. I have an ID card from Green Guys with my picture on it, but apparently that’s just for wasting plastic I guess. I could tell they were gonna be an issue from the second I arrived and the worker asked what I had. When I told him it was aluminum engine parts and radiators he got pissy and huffed off like I was some huge inconvenience. Same garbage attitude from the workers that started unloading me. These overgrown toddlers were seemingly offended that I was there to bring them scrap like I was inconveniencing them like it isn’t literally their job. The way I see it, the majority of the employees at Green Guys clearly hate their job and seem to not care that they carry themselves with the attitude of a whiny toddler when presented with having to do their job. So unless you enjoy being treated like a problem and an annoyance, take your scrap somewhere else because Green Guys is not it.

  Don't take your iron with you unless is 150 pounds. Not worthy load your truck if you don't have 150 pounds. They want it free! donated!

  Someone illegally dumped 8 bags of mulch on my property and I spent all night+morning trying to figure out how to dispose of them. Some other disposal wanted $82, some Wood Recycling wouldn't take it at all, but Green Guy took them for free without batting an eye. Incredibly helpful and hassle-free. These guys are the real deal. Truly a blessing to have these guys in San Marcos!
