  Had a brief hiccup at the beginning that was straightened out quickly. Abelardo and crew did a phenomenal job installing our tile. It looks like it was done during our original home construction. Flawless. Arturo and Elpidio did excellent work with the post tile install work and Jimmy stopped by multiple times to ensure everything was running smoothly. I would absolutely hire them again for any other flooring needs.

  I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Floor King in San Marcos. After a late arrival for measurements, it took ten days to receive a quote—well beyond the promised 24 hours. After I signed a contract and hand-delivered a check, they called to say the flooring was discontinued. Most concerning was their written policy to charge a 3% 'service fee' on debit cards, which is a violation of Texas law (§ 604A.002). I ultimately had to go to the store in person to retrieve my check as they showed no urgency in returning it. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a company that respects your time and follows state commerce laws.

  They definitely have a lot of options in their showroom. Knowledgeable about different types of flooring options. Communication between the office staff and the customer could use some work.

  The actual floor installers did a great job on install. However, the office staff is another story. Late for appointments, no show, and no calls. We finally got a bid from them when I called and reminded them that they missed our appt. A month later we got our wood floors done and we’re please with the outcome EXCEPT we have been missing a transition strip that divides the bedroom from the bathroom. This was promised to us 4 months ago. We made many calls and left numerous voicemails with no response. Finally, out of the blue, we get a call asking if we were satisfied with our service. Haha. Nope! My husband told her that we are still missing a transition strip and her response was “I will get on this asap and get back to you tomorrow. That was 4 weeks ago and still nothing. I think this company needs new personnel running the establishment. They are unreliable and very unprofessional.
