  At first I was not sure if the sod was good when it was purchased. I was worried about nothing, once it was placed and watered it popped right up green. My neighbor have complimented my yard.

  The grass is very good quality! Reasonable prices and great product. My husband and I had stopped buying here because of the customer service and communication issues due to the language barrier with a previous employee, as well as the lack of patience. We would ask for a specific type of grass and were given the wrong one. We decided to give the place a second chance, and our experience completely changed with the new management! Special thanks to Fernando for his attention and patience! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

  I was supposed to have gotten Zoysia, instead I got Nutsedge weed, it’s a perennial weed that broadleaf chemicals won’t touch. Nutsedge is a tubular weed that has nutlets(rhizomes) in the dirt. Spreads rapidly, perennial and extremely hard to get rid of. I am 3 1/2 weeks into this, the brown area is the Zoysia even after I watered and the good rain we have had recently. Not the yard I expected to get.

  I recently reached out to The Grass Company of San Antonio to ask about pricing for St. Augustine grass. I called twice and left a message on my second call. After not getting an answer on my calls, I received a detailed response via text message outlining different grass types and care information. The message was quite long, and I missed the specific price, so I politely followed up to ask for clarification. Instead of answering directly, they resent the same message with the price circled and replied, “Do you read?” When I pointed out that the response felt rude, they followed up with “Just an observation.” While the information they provide may be thorough, the way they communicate with potential customers could be improved, as this interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. Based on this experience, I chose to take my business elsewhere.
