The whole team is awesome! Alex is a great tech and was very helpful both times I seen him. Jordan and Alex did a great install, and I was surprised how fast they had the old unit out and new one in. Matthew was extremely nice and very helpful too. Overall, they were all amazing and the turn around time in the middle of a heat dome was life saving! 24 hours from talking to Alex, the installers had it knocked out the park. Special thanks to everyone for all of the help, care and compassion they had for my complex care baby situation! Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Had a terrible experience with this company. Our AC stopped working and they came out and said there was a problem with the inside unit and that we needed a new coil. (We were originally quoted over $7,000 for said coil). I pay for it and they replace it. The next day I come home from work to find water all over my floor (this is a new house that we just bought and moved into) and pouring from the ceiling as well as it being hot in the house because it stopped working again. The tech that did the installation didn't do it correctly and it flooded causing water damage to the ceiling, pillar, and baseboards, not to mention all of the potential mold/bacterial growth. I called the company and they had to come out 3 more times because the AC would work for a few hours, then stop working again. and it was still not fixed. Finally, they sent a manager and they let us know the problem was never even the unit inside, it was the outdoor unit. So not only did they make us pay a ridiculous amount for a part we didn't even need, but they also damaged my home. They have also not followed up to help with repairs or restoration to my new home. I have been truly let down by this company and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

Would give as many negative stars as possible. No way to easily cover the horrible experiences with this company over the past five years. Five years and over $26,000 in to this company's top of the line AC unit and it still doesn't work right. After the once every year or two breakdown which I've paid to fix regardless of the warranty my current go around with them has taken over 2 weeks, 6 trips out, four new huge holes in my drywall, mold, a living room ceiling hole with water pouring out and about 20 calls to get ahold of a manager who can actually make decisions (still hasn't happened). Still waiting on a general manager or corporate management response and have no AC in half my house, water still leaking from my ceiling and huge power bills since the unit doesn't cycle properly. The only thing I've managed to learn out of this experience is google AI is your friend, most of their techs don't know what they're doing, worse yet they really don't seem to care and management doesn't think answering the phone or returning calls is important, unless it's to sell you some really expensive service and equipment. Overall, worst service experience of my life.

Update: there was a leaking coil in the attic that was not found during maintenance visit. It’s now costed us over $6500 due to this miss. The pictures are from the other company who identified the issue. BEWARE… serviced my 83-year old widowed Grandmas units on 31 July. 17 Aug, both units are reading 90 degrees and I couldn’t get a rep back to the house within 15 hours. Both units are less than six years old. The tech kept quoting AI for his diagnostics and was upselling unnecessary services like $10k to seal her ductwork and he wasn’t sure if it was necessary or would work but insisted bc AI told him she had an air leak. Turns out the unit had a major leak and had lost 2/3 refrigerant. Upstairs unit had a clogged condensation line. I got no readings information or stats based on the diagnostics with the bill or tech feedback. This was fishy but I gave benefit of doubt. Any tech should have the basic skills to run diagnostics and have mastered the craft before running diagnostics that produce AI results. I wasn’t against the two start assist the tech installed bc it’s Texas and hot. I will be canceling her service plan immediately and it’s sad to see so many companies looking to maximize profits through upselling vs getting the job done. Gonzo was the tech, polite and patient with her. I am unsure if it’s him or the business model but $1900 later and three weeks later with her issues is a major red flag.

UPDATE: After this experience happened hours ago, Goettl had the nerve to send me a quote for a new Air Conditioner unit. How insulting. Tomorrow we will begin the process of contacting Goettl management and if no satisfactory conclusion can be reached we will pursue avenues such as the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Texas Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Original Review below: I strongly recommend thinking twice before doing business with Goettl. My experience with this company has cost me approximately $21,000 in just over a month, and I am now sitting in my office without air conditioning. This started when the main AC system in my home stopped cooling properly. I called Goettl for service. I was told that my indoor coil was leaking, that repairing it could cost around $7,000 and potentially take weeks to locate the necessary equipment/parts, and that replacing the entire system was my best option. My house was over 90 degrees, I have a wife and young child at home, and I needed AC restored quickly. I trusted their recommendation and purchased a new system for approximately $18,000. While they were at my home, they also inspected my SECOND AC system, which serves my office. I had not called them about this system. It was working and blowing cold air but the repair man said he should take a look since he's already here. After inspecting it, I was told this second system had problems as well and that I should address them before it failed like the first system. I was initially given an estimate in the range of $900–$1,100. The work ultimately cost me over $3,000. I agreed because I believed I was being proactive and preventing another AC failure. Approximately 35 days later, that second AC stopped cooling. I called Goettl back. Their technician came out and essentially acknowledged that the previous repair had not solved the problem. I was then told I was FIVE DAYS outside the applicable warranty period and would now potentially need a new coil costing thousands more or, conveniently, I could purchase another complete AC system. An entire new system. That was their suggestion and that was the end of my relationship with Goettl. To summarize: I originally called about ONE malfunctioning AC system. I ultimately spent approximately $18,000 replacing it. Goettl then recommended roughly $3,000 of additional work on a SECOND system that was cooling perfectly well when they arrived. Approximately one month after that work, the second system stopped cooling, and I was told the previous repair hadn’t worked, I was five days outside the warranty period, and I should consider spending thousands more or buying another system. I understand that HVAC equipment fails. I understand that a repair cannot always guarantee that an older system will never develop another problem. What I cannot accept is paying approximately $3,000 for recommended preventative work on a functioning system, having that system stop cooling roughly a month later, and then being told that because I am five days outside a warranty window, I should prepare to spend thousands of dollars again. I trusted Goettl’s diagnoses and recommendations. I spent approximately $21,000 with them based on that trust. That trust is now completely gone. I will be getting an independent HVAC company to diagnose the second system before allowing anyone from Goettl to perform additional work on it. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a major repair or replacement through Goettl to get an independent second opinion before authorizing expensive work. I wish I had.
