  We moved into our new build home excited about what should have been a fresh start — but 1.5 years in, we’re still fighting to get legitimate foundation concerns properly addressed. Shortly after moving in, we noticed cracks in the walls and doors becoming misaligned — classic signs of foundation movement. We were told they wouldn’t even evaluate the foundation until we hit the one-year mark, so we waited. Their recommendation was to fix the grading in the backyard. A crew came out, dug a small area, and left. That was it. The cracks and door shifting returned quickly. When I reached out again, I received unsigned, dismissive emails offering no timeline or commitment to help. I eventually got someone to send out another foundation inspector, who — again — recommended fixing the grade and gutters. Now the builder is saying they’ll patch the cracks but won’t touch the backyard grading, claiming it’s outside of warranty. The problem is, the first attempt to fix the grading clearly didn’t work, and now they’re using the warranty window as a shield rather than standing behind their work. I’ve been unable to speak with anyone beyond the same contact. No escalation path, no accountability. I’m not trying to be difficult. I’m a homeowner who spent a significant amount of money on a brand-new home and simply wants it to be structurally sound. Foundation issues don’t get better on their own — they get more expensive. The fact that a builder would leave a family in this position rather than make it right is deeply disappointing. If you’re considering building with this company, please go in with your eyes open and document everything from day one.

  Archer Oaks by Chesmar is going.to be a small community. Isacc Gonzales was the sales rep today and he was nice not pushy and didnt follow us around talking. Their Apollo Model Home is.awesome.

  Very friendly and informative. Answered all my questions. It’s obvious that the homes are of very high standards and quality. The neighborhood is fantastic and the location has it all, even a park and quick access to miles of walking and running trails. For a distance walker or runner that’s huge !
