  Been going here since 2016 and the lumber quality is always great. Also, super pleased they allow returns considering other smaller yards dont or charge a fee.

  If it’s bad wood, Tough Nut, you already paid for it. After purchasing some 2x2’s here as they were loading the bundles I noticed a board that had a loose knot all the way through the board. When I asked him to swap it, out the owner Joe said no. They said that they do not go picking through wood. That if I get a bad one then that’s the quality of the wood. When I was upset about having to pay for wood that I know I won’t be able to use he told the loader to start unloading the wood that I had paid for and was already on my trailer. He told me that if I was picky enough to want solid wood then he doesn’t want my business. You got it. Update: Honest? When I asked if I could swap out wood that clearly was unusable you said “no, that is not the grade of wood that I sell”. I did have two boards that were completely unusable due to knots. Just two boards. You could have just swapped those out, but you would not. You specifically told me that if you have to swap it out then you have to eat the cost of the bad wood. I suppose you would rather me eat the cost of that bad wood. Just keep your business honest Joe.

  I have been shopping at Braundera lumber for almost 20 years. No one has a better selection of cedar or redwood in town. Extremely knowledgeable in design and construction. Can't recommend them highly enough!
