A&DW had a special deal on an AC checkup that I took advantage of today. The Technician that came was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the AC system to me. He provided insight into how I can keep my system running and keeping the house cool. I will definitely recommend this company and gladly do business with them in the future. Thank you.

I am very disappointed with the diagnosis I received. The technician, Charlie, told me that I had a refrigerant leak in the copper line inside the walls and suggested that I most likely caused it by installing two screws for a wall-mounted camera. The screws were less than 2 inches long and had been in the wall for over two years. Based on that diagnosis, he recommended replacing the entire copper line.
Out of curiosity, I decided to get a second opinion. The second technician made a small access opening in the plenum to inspect the back side of the evaporator coil. He immediately found visible oil stains on the coil, and an electronic leak detector confirmed that the evaporator coil was the source of the leak.
I am extremely glad I sought a second opinion. Otherwise, I would have spent more than $2,000 replacing the copper line, which would not have fixed the problem, and then still faced another $2,000 to replace the leaking evaporator coil.
What upsets me the most is that I trusted the original diagnosis completely. This experience reinforced the importance of getting a second opinion before authorizing an expensive repair. Charlie I really trusted you.
UPDATE:
The service manager called me personally and sent a second technician, Joe, who performed a thorough inspection and took the time to investigate the issue very carefully. I was very pleased with his professionalism and the effort the company has made to address my concerns.
The manager also informed me that they have ordered the exact replacement evaporator coil directly from the manufacturer as a custom order, with an estimated delivery time of about three weeks.
Everyone can make mistakes, I understand, but what matters more is taking responsibility and working to make things right. I appreciate the company's willingness to do that. I will post another update and revise my review once the repair has been completed successfully. Thank you Dan and Joe. I am looking forward to the repair.

From start to finish, I had an excellent experience! Charlie came out to inspect my 25-year-old A/C unit and explained everything about the replacement process in a way that was easy to understand. I really appreciated his honesty and the time he spent making sure I understood everything. He was professional, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured.
The technicians who installed my new A/C system were equally impressive. They were respectful, friendly, and worked efficiently while keeping everything clean. Once the installation was complete, they took the time to walk me through downloading the app, showed me how to make the necessary adjustments, and explained who to contact if I had any questions in the future.
The entire team provided outstanding customer service, and I couldn't be happier with my new A/C system. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, professional, and top-quality service!

Frequently Asked Questions About Air & Drain Works
How Often Does My Water Heater Need Flushing?
For a well-running water heater system, we advise scheduling a cleaning once a year to keep your unit running efficiently. Routine maintenance is proven to extend the lifespan of your water heater. In tanked models, this helps prevent leaks and sediment accumulation.
Extensive cleaning removes unwanted debris and deposits that build up in the tank. Our plumbers can perform a flush treatment that will extend your water heater’s life expectancy.
What Is Hydrojetting And How Can It Help My Drains?
Hydrojetting is an effective way to clear out drain lines and pipes. Hydrojetting pushes a very powerful water jet through your pipes along with sewer lines. It clears out any kind of debris, waste and sludge that may be obstructing your plumbing system. This process is safe and power-balanced for your system.
At Air & Drain Works, we suggest hydrojetting to customers searching for proactive cleaning as well as some cases of clearing harder clogs. Stopping buildup before it occurs is the best way to keep your system clean and healthy.
When Should I Replace My Water Heater?
Here at Air & Drain Works, we recommend that if your water heater is 12 years or older then it may be time to invest in a new heater for your home. Over time, water heaters become calcified, make noises and can start leaking. These are all indications it’s time to replace your water heater.
If you’re experiencing any of these conditions or have concerns, give us a call today! Our team also offers installment of tankless water heaters for on-demand hot water.
What Are The Signs Of A Clogged Main Drain?
Detecting and addressing clogs in your main drain is essential to prevent potential serious damage. If you suspect a blockage, ask our professional plumbers to efficiently resolve the issue. When an area of your main drain line sinks, it’s typically due to poor soil problems. This may indicate that faulty sewer lines were installed. Drain line bellies can also be caused by tree root intrusions. The drooping develops a trough that gathers grease, sludge, waste and debris.
If left untreated, sewer bellies can clogs, erosion and sewer back-ups. Sewage system bellies can be repaired by identifying the damaged area and reinforcing or replacing broken pipes.
