Now, it is very rare that ever leave a review that doesn't express my gratitude for amazing service. When I have a bad experience I usually take it as a lesson learned, but there's no gatekeeping with this one because I too was fooled. Bacon sent a nice young man to my residence in June when my air condition had gone out completely. He came and expressed the utmost empathy and expressed that he felt bad that we had previously been taken advantage of by Rescue Air, who had serviced our home for over 5 years. We've had commercial units placed in our home and the Bacon Plumbing Heating Air Electric Rep was in disbelief about how we had been being ripped off. So he then proceeds to offer their services, which ultimately came to replacing the motor in the main unit in addition to cutting out another area in the house to improve air circulation. However, here we are in September, and the air has gone out again. Bacon sent a representative out who simply observed the unit on the outside of the house and stated that the unit is completely out of freon. Then, he states that that repair alone is going to cost at least $6000 to replace that coil because the freon would start squirting out if attempted to refill. I mean.....I'm now sitting in a hot house when we just paid $3000 out of pocket in June to fix the air. At this point, I'm convinced that I'm being punished because I didn't go to HVAC school. Lesson learned folks.... Shop around before settling for the first estimate because you can't stand the heat....or the cold. Stay safe out here!

Such great service! We've been customers of Bacon for about 3 years and we always get great service! Our AC went out so I contacted Bacon and they were able to get a technician to our place in a few house. Xavier (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) was AWESOME! He was super friendly, very polite and very knowledgeable. My son said it was like they were long time friends. We appreciate his professionalism and that he was so personable and genuine. Highly recommend. My AC works great!

I am really happy with the service that I received from Joseph and Bacon Plumbing. Bacon worked diligently on getting a technician out to me on such late notice. They kept me informed at all times of them getting someone to service me.
Joseph was professional and knowledgeable. He showed great concern about the issue that I had with the plumbing that was done by another company when I had a walk in shower installed. I’m so grateful that he did because now I’ve contacted the company to get this corrected.
I’m very happy with the service, ands recommend Bacon to anyone needing plumbing service.

This review regards service I received from Bacon Plumbing on 8/26/26. The service technician was Montell Patrick. A PVC fitting on a main water line tap feeding my sprinkler system (connection to the main backflow valve input) had cracked and was leaking water @ 200 gal/hr. The only thing I could do was shut water off to the entire house. I’ve attached a picture of the access box with the PVC fitting and backflow valve.
I want to state that I’ve waited a few days before writing this review hoping some of the frustration I experienced with this service would dissipate. I would first like to state that Bacon Plumbing was very responsive with getting someone out to fix the problem. Given we had no water to the house, Montell arrived within an hour or two of the call. It was at this point things took a very different turn.
Montell provided me two quotes to fix the issue.
The first quote was to replace just the PVC fitting. But Montell stated that the polyvinyl pipe that was used to tap off the main water line was not used anymore, so he could not provide a warranty for the work. Note that the house is only 19 years old. Montell provided me a quote to replace just the broken fitting and I was floored with the number. He quoted me $1,438 to replace a PVC fitting that was already exposed and that price didn’t even come with a warranty!
Once I regained my composure, Montell provided the second quote.
The second quote involved replacing the polyvinyl pipe and the broken fitting, and the work would be backed by a full warranty. Montell said to fix the problem “correctly” would cost $25,400! I pointed out to Montell that that the polyvinyl pipe connection off the main copper line to the house was only about 15 feet from the box where the backflow valve and bad connection was! What was Montell’s reaction?
I explained to Montell that both quotes were outrageous, with the second one off by a huge order of magnitude. At that point I wasn’t sure if Montell was truly capable or if he was just trying to make a quick buck on an unsuspecting person. I’m quite familiar with construction, plumbing, and electrical with a degree in electrical engineering, but I’m getting up in age and was hoping to pay someone to do the work instead of doing it myself.
Against my better judgement, and the fact that we needed the water turned back on, I gave Montell the go ahead to replace the connector. Little did I know that there was more to come.
You’d think it would be rather straight forward to replace a connector. Especially by a trained plumber. And one that was charging you $1,438 to do it. By the time Montell was finished, the backflow valve was snapped off the down flow PVC pipe and the Frankenstein connections that were used to get the valve reconnected was something to see. There wasn’t a standard connector used on either side. You’d think there would be a PVC connector on the valve input similar to the broken one removed. And that there would be a glued connector to the downstream PVC pipe connecting the valve output. But, no. The repair guy used PEX crimped in an odd way to the polyvinyl pipe with SharkBite connectors to something that mated with the valve, and he did something similar on the outflow side using PEX, SharkBite connectors, etc. Amazed at how many joints there were in an 18” section of water line. To his credit, it did not appear to leak when pressurized and water was restored to the house. I did not get a picture of his finished product before he covered it up.
I can see why Bacon would not warranty that. In the end, Montell gave me a “discount” and only charged me $1,238 for the job. Hoping it will last through the season and to a more moderate climate where I will likely fix it myself. I would NOT recommend Bacon Plumbing to anyone. I believe Bacon sent out an undertrained serviceman who relayed outrageous pricing provided to him by some remote person (manager).
I used to chuckle at your name whenever I saw a Bacon Plumbing van on the road, but now it will serve as a reminder of a very unpleasant experience.

Bacon plumbing technicians arrived within 45 minutes of my call for a residential water service entrance leak, with the work completed in just a couple of hours of my call. The scope of work included exterior leak location, pipe repair, and new valve installation. The technicians were friendly, professional, fast, and clean. They offered several solutions with estimates for my repair situation on the spot. Although, I definitely paid more than I would have with a smaller plumbing company, time was the deciding factor for me in selecting Bacon for my plumbing repairs. I recommend Bacon for emergency residential plumbing repairs.
