The technician Sam Campbell was prompt and very professional. After hearing our concerns, he inspected told us the probable issue, then gave us options. He was honest, wasn’t pushy. He could’ve easily told us that we needed an unnecessary service, but he didn’t. For that reason alone, my family will utilize TopTech if we ever have plumbing issues in the future.

I would highly recommend calling a couple other places for quotes. We had a TopTech technician come out and quote us $150 for what he thought would be the work that would be needed, but did not fix the issue. The tech then tried to run a snake through the main pipe and could not get to it since it wouldn’t bend. He said he would need to call his supervisor and recommend they use a camera which alone is $395 and does not include any additional services we then may need and on top of paying the 150 already quoted. I was not comfortable paying that amount so I decided to call around. Luckily I was able to find another company that could come out and give me a quote at no charge if I got the repair done they also said if they did need a camera, the charge would be 200 in the end they did not need a camera and were able to run the snake from my attic which top tech never recommended that as an option - way easier fix. I ended up saving several hundred dollars by calling around. The tech that came out was friendly, but did not seem to be fully aware and experienced of what other options I had or was not honest about it.

I really wanted to have a good experience with Top Tech, but unfortunately they missed the mark. After searching extensively for drain cleaners in my area, I ran across Top Tech with their $63 drain cleaning special. They were communicative and quick to get me on the schedule. I did request an afternoon appointment and got a text that they were en route about 9am, but it wasn't a big deal. As soon as the tech entered my home, he started asking me questions about whether I had my plumbing fully inspected via camera when I purchased the home (I've live here for 5 years). OK, weird. But whatever, please just clean my drain. He successfully removed the clog in my hallway drain, showed me the old linkage inside the overflow plate and explained that he was removing it because it's old and doesn't really do anything. He showed me the tub was draining much better, great! He moved to the back bathroom, and started on his spiel about the age of my home, the copper pipes, etc. He said the pipes were really rusted and the drain was in horrible shape. He starts inspecting the supply line to my sink, offering me a free inspection so he can "write up" what a replacement would cost. Can you please just clean my drain like I asked? Suddenly he changes course, saying that my overflow assembly is too rusted to clean. I asked him to write up his free inspection for reference. He didn't write it up for me. He also said the angle stops on my laundry lines "would leak if I turned them off"-- except they didn't leak when I turned them off when I recently switched out my washer. I assumed that he removed the old overflow linkage on the back bathroom (like he did in the first tub), so it should be it clear for me to put my own augur down, right? WRONG. The linkage broke off from the plate and is stuck, with the drain plug, in the overflow pipe somewhere between the trap and the overflow plate. I want to know if he broke my linkage and lied, instrad claiming it was rust? Why wouldn't he just tell me it was like that when he found it? How do you know it's too rusty to snake if it's blocked? The whole experience was really weird. He was a nice guy, but it was clear from the outset that the $63 drain cleaning special was a scam to sell me extra services and tell me how horrible my plumbing is. Plus, possible dishonesty with the broken linkage in the overflow assembly. Guess it was too good to be true!

Horrible experience- will not use again. I received text at 10:19am, 11:32am, 2:01pm, 5:35pm all stating technician is “on the way” only to receive an additional text at 6:22pm stating due to delays the work would have to be rescheduled for the following day. Why would you tell a customer 4 technicians are “on the way”? Unable to speak with anyone at the company even though the website says open 24 hours. You need to understand most people have to schedule days off to address emergency plumping issues. Zero customer service. Would rate zero stars but unable.

Had a plumbing issue where the condensation line built up enough to block right where a jack and jill restroom was underneath. Had to access it from the attic. I’ll tell you, Andrew, Corbin, Peyton, and Michael were all great. Had to go at it at different angles with a snake not working and it just needed a good clean out by jetting it. After multiple visits to narrow it down, they gave me some options I was comfortable in trying and didn’t give up until the job was done. Communication was great and they were attentive. I’ll be trusting them with any issues in the future.
