  The HOA and property management company are a nightmare. You definitely want to read this before you buy. We are looking to sell our home for one primary reason: the HOA. When you buy a house here, you aren't just buying a piece of real estate, you are buying into a system of HOA management, and ours has been an absolute failure. If I could go back in time, I would never have purchased a property in this community. The HOA board is still completely controlled by the builder, leading to zero accountability. Homeowner complaints regarding increased dues, property management, and governance are routinely ignored. The property management company is ghosting residents. And they are vindictive with violation notices. My personal interactions with the property manager, Claudina Long, have been entirely unprofessional. Furthermore, outreach to Carrie Gooding, the builder’s representative on the board, was met with complete silence. The breakdown in management extends directly to our community amenities. The neighborhood pool is repeatedly out of service. Worse, the pool restrooms are left unsecured and unmaintained after hours. On multiple occasions, residents reported horrific sanitary conditions inside, including human feces left in the common area toilets and used condoms discarded on the floor. Do your homework before putting an offer on a home here. Do not just listen to the glossy pitch in the sales office. After you sign, they discard you. Walk the neighborhood and talk to actual homeowners. Ask them how their concerns are handled. My experience has proven that a toxic, unresponsive HOA can completely ruin the joy of buying here. And if you ask them questions, they will retaliate against you by sending you fake violation notices to keep you quiet.

  I was highly impressed with Ernie Sandoval, the Community Sales Manager I worked with throughout the entire transaction process of my new build with Ashton Woods. Ernie displayed the up most professionalism, was honest, highly knowledgeable & helpful, responsive, was transparent about upgrades & pricing, and genuine. I had several questions and Ernie was not only professional but patient and answered all my questions and concerns. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help me choose the best options for my set budget. I never felt left out of any important details, and Ernie provided not just good, but excellent communication with every step of the process. I had an exceptional experience and if I could, I would give Ernie 1000 stars. I highly recommend working with Ernie for your home buying needs with Ashton Woods. I was also impressed with Ashton Woods quality, exceptional high-end design selections, beautiful floor plans, energy-efficient, and value for the square footage. Well done Ernie, you’re simply THE BEST!
