  Outstanding company from start to finish. Needed new system before moving into 40 yr old home whose HVAC was 20+ yrs old and in need of repair. Excellent communication, hard-working and professional.

  Recently moved into a new home and had to have our AC looked at. Samm’s was easy to schedule with and the $99 diagnostic fee was well worth it! Joshua and the other team members were very honest and respectful.

  As a first-time homeowner and not knowing more than what a Google search could tell me about a/c issues, I was extremely grateful for the help that Samm’s Heating & A/C technician, Josh MacDonald, provided. Not only did he resolve the issue (which turned out to be more plumbing-related than a/c), he took the time to explain everything in laymen’s terms. He texted before showing up. He arrived on time. He was very respectful and polite, and he even put on booties before entering my home. While his primary focus is on repairs, I will definitely be requesting him for future annual maintenance calls.

  I am hoping that this will lead to someone finally calling me back. I have been dealing with an AC issue for months at a commercial property, and I can’t seem to get it resolved past a certain point and am quite ready to give up on it. I have called multiple times to get a link to finance a very costly AC repair, and either someone calls me just resends me the same non working link, or they don’t call me back at all. I finally get a little progress and receive a completely different working link, but when it was time to submit the application I received a new error message. The agent told me she had never seen the issue before and would call me back once she found out. To my knowledge, she never did and I’ve been trying to contact them ever since. Now they have these AI agents answering the phone and it’s a complete nightmare. If I can finally get this issue resolved I will strongly consider removing my review, but I need this issue to be resolved asap.

  Our upstairs AC stopped blowing air during the hot summer. Furnace not working, but outdoor unit was spinning. Samm's was really busy with other emergencies so we booked for Monday (it was Friday morning when I called in). We were OK with that. Samm's later called that they have an opening the same day and a repair person came in about an hour. Great communication all the way! The repair guy was very courteous and within about 10min he diagnosed the problem to a dead capacitor in the furnace. After giving the go-ahead on that repair, he was done in about another 10min and we were up and running. Our furnace unit is old and we'd previously replaced the motor. He was honest about common repair parts generally being available and did not try to sell us a new unit (we'd had a bad experience with another HVAC company sales person trying to sell a new system 5 years ago with the only reason being our AC is "old"). The reason for 4 stars, not 5: being a big company, the repair guy opened the "book" (or "ebook" on the tablet) to pull the price. $355 for the capacitor replace and the service in total ended up costing just over $600. It's a ~$30 part so this charge was excessive given the time spent.
