Joel was fantastic to work with on our bathroom remodel. The end result was really high quality, and we’re very happy with his attention to detail and work. He communicated really well, showed up every day, and helped set expectations throughout the project. He was very thoughtful in how he approached the work, answered questions clearly, and helped us think through decisions along the way. We also really appreciated how respectful he was of our home. He cleaned up after himself each day, kept the work area as organized as possible, and made the remodel feel much less disruptive than it could have been. We’re really happy with how everything turned out and would absolutely recommend Joel to anyone looking for a reliable contractor who takes pride in doing the job right. We'll be using him in the future.

I have used Montfort Designs many times over the years, in four properties, for projects varying in complexity from "just" painting to complete remodel. Project costs were as they were bid (except for change requests that inevitably emerge once work starts) and Joel was always communicative along the way. Most importantly, the quality was top notch with no cutting corners.

I contacted Joel after buying a 1960 ranch style house with less-than-ideal remodels completed by a previous owner. My 'fix list' included a shower repair in one bathroom, a bidet install in another, and some all-around electric work. Working within my timeline, Joel helped me pick which items were worth resolving based on my budget. Very satisfied. Highly recommend!

Joel did a great job doing cabinets, floors, tiles, backsplash and other things. In one instance, someone else wasn't getting the job done and he came in and did the job correctly. He worked with me when I had to switch a gears a few times. He wants the job done correctly. Recommended.
