I recently came to Chesmar Homes because I was interested in purchasing a home, but unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience.
We had an appointment to view a home, and Brody confirmed that the home was still available. He instructed us to go to the model/display home so someone could assist us with getting the home opened for a tour.
When we arrived, Lisa informed us that the home had actually been sold by her a couple of days earlier. We thanked her for her time and left. Shortly afterward, Lisa called me and asked if we were still on our way to tour the home. I explained that we had already been there, had spoken with her, and had just left because she told us the home had been sold.
I also pointed out that there was still an “Available” sign outside the home. Lisa then stated that the home was not available.
I understand that homes can sell quickly and that availability can change. However, the communication and overall experience were extremely confusing and disappointing. I am not sure why we were not given the opportunity to tour the home, especially since we had made an appointment and were told the home was available.
As potential homebuyers, we expected honesty, professionalism, and helpful communication throughout the process. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that we were not treated fairly and that our time was not respected.
I am very disappointed with my experience with Chesmar Homes and hope management takes the time to look into what happened so that future customers do not have a similar experience.
