I went to community to the clubhouse builders open house last weekend. I had made an appointment the day before with Kelly who was very kind and professional. When I got there the following day she advised me that the unit was open as she had spoke with Austin. Austin reached out to me and I explained to him that I was looking at a specific unit on Acorn drive. He advised me of two other properties as well. I told him that I was only interested in the one I made the appointment to view on Acorn Dr or St. I waited at the unit because the door was not open when I arrived even though it was open house. I called Austin and he stated that he would call and have someone come and open the door. After waiting 45 minutes and not receiving a call back from Austin, I called him again. He said go to the office they will open the unit for you that's what their job is. I thought he meant back to the clubhouse. He said he tried to call but no one answered to let me in the unit. However he never called me back to advise me of this. When I arrive back to clubhouse, Kelly stated that she had met Austin earlier and told him that I would be there after 1:30 and that they exchanged phone numbers. So why he didn't have her phone number I'm not sure. There was another gentleman there in the entry who was very kind. When I called Austin to let him know that the clubhouse did not have the keys he told me to go to the DRB Model Ofc and the person there would allow me entrance. After arriving at the DRB model. I was frustrated by their unprofessionalism. As I had to look everywhere for what I thought was the sales agent. I found her in the back of the property model near the office. I asked her if I could see the unit I had been waiting in front of for 45 minutes and that Austin said he could not reach anyone. Her name was Grace and I asked if she was the salesperson. All she would repeat is that she was just there helping show properties. Then another Realtor came up and asked to see the same unit and she told them she would meet them there to open and show. I immediately let her know that I have been waiting there for 45 minutes and then she never showed up to open the door for us. The other agent was welcome to come with us, but we had an appointment from the day before and the unit was locked. Grace became defensive and I had her on speaker phone with Austin. She stated that I was refusing to allow the other agent to see the property! I spoke with the other agent directly as well as kept her card and also personally invited her to come inside with us and view the property at the same exact time. I found DRB at this location to be all over the place, unprepared. Table not manned at the open house and Austin was unconcerned at the least. He lacks the ability for to assist with inquiries on the property, especially during an open house. As the buyer for myself and my spouse and the agent representing another buyer, we chose to move on. I went back to the office clubhouse to speak to Kelly to thank her for being professional and explained what had happened during the showing. She was very kind, knowledgeable and apologized profusely on behalf of DRB which I don't believe she has anything to do with. She stated that Austin had made a comment that he had not been notified of this event prior. Regardless, Kelly and the gentleman that was with her which I did not get his name was a young man at reception and he stated that he would give my information to I believe Madison Randall, and that he or someone would reach out to me regarding my visit. I'm still waiting! As a realtor I'm very careful about defaming ANY company or community. I only can advise of my own personal experience. This was my own personal experience and may or may not be the experience of any other individual exploring this community. There were several other builders there that were available, engaging and ready to explain their community. The Solterra Community was beautiful, upscale and inviting.

Extremely rude salesperson. They treated me like I couldn’t afford one of their poorly built homes. I bought with first Texas, got everything I wanted plus more. Don’t but with this company!!
