  Richardson glass did a great job replacing all the window panes on our front door. I talked to other companies and the prices were pretty comparable. However, the other companies did not make me confident that they could get the job done. Mike and Lisa were very professional as were the guys that measured for us. (One even joined Mike for part of the time today and I'm sorry that I don't recall his name.) This job required tedious moulding removal yet our door shows no indication that the moldings had to be removed. The guys were very careful to keep things protected and clean. If we had known how much better the door would look we'd have done this sooner. Thanks Richardson Glass!

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with Richardson Glass was flat-out unprofessional. We’re in the middle of purchasing a home in McKinney, and during our option period, our inspector identified 49+ windows with failed seals. We brought Richardson Glass in for an expert opinion and estimate. They told us they didn’t need interior access, so we coordinated everything accordingly. After a walk-around and reviewing the inspection report, they sent us an estimate just under $10,000, which aligned with the scope. We used that number in good faith to negotiate concessions with the seller. Here’s where it went sideways. The seller contacted Richardson Glass directly, and instead of maintaining any level of professional boundary, their team: -Discussed our estimate with the seller -Agreed the price was “too high” without any additional inspection -Reissued a drastically reduced estimate (~$2,000) -Shared that revised number with the seller That completely destroyed our negotiating position overnight. Let’s be clear: -You do not communicate with the opposing party in a real estate transaction about a report your client requested -You do not revise an estimate by 80% without new data -You do not undermine your own client’s position to appease someone else This wasn’t just poor service, it showed a complete lack of professionalism, discretion, and understanding of how real estate transactions work. If you need a vendor who protects your interests and stands behind their work, this is not the company.
