  I had been keeping a close watch on a specific house in Manor—located at 20400 Stealfox in the Carillon subdivision—waiting for it to go on the market. When it was finally listed for sale at $530,000, I submitted an offer of $450,000, but it was rejected; they informed me that the absolute minimum they would accept was $510,000. After more than a month had passed without them being able to sell it, they lowered the price to $450,000. I went to speak with the sales agent, Kaylee, to express my interest in purchasing the property. However, she referred me to another agent—Brodie—to handle the transaction. Brodie mentioned that there was a $10,000 incentive available that I could use toward closing costs or the down payment. I verified this with Kaylee, and she confirmed that it was indeed available. The very next day—when I followed up to proceed with the purchase—she told me that the incentive had already expired, even though it had been offered to me just one day prior. Furthermore, she informed me that the price of the house had increased by an additional $3,995 to cover the installation of a fence—despite the fact that the signage posted at the front door still displayed the original price of $450,000. I do not consider this behavior—whether on the part of Chesmar or their sales agents—to be professional in the slightest; after all, if they start off with lies like this, what can one expect?

  Don't have experience building with Chesmar, but we recently met with Martha to tour their homes in Carillion and I can't express enough how positive Martha made our experience. She was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the floorplans and sale process, she really listened to what our priorities and concerns were and addressed them adequately, and she was super patient with our two little ones that we had to bring with us. Martha is a gem and Chesmar is lucky to have such a great representative for their homes!

  Absolutely trash company, don’t bother with this incompetent joke. They actively damaged my lawn with their equipment and refuse to acknowledge any fault, accept blame, and try to gaslight me. Constantly leaving trash and construction supplies on all of the residents lawns. STAY FAR AND AWAY!

  Do not buy from this builder. They damaged my property during construction and refused to take responsibility. The process was full of poor communication, lack of care, and zero accountability. I've been left with expensive repairs and frustration. Look elsewhere if you want a builder who respects your home and stands behind their work.
