Original install went great back in 2021 when the father was running the company. However, the service follow up with the son just this week was not great, at all. The alarm was going off and the aerator was not working. They charged me $175 and left without fixing anything. They said they were coming out again the next day but had no plan on what they were going to do. I ended up sucking up the loss and calling out another company. I would not recommend.

Spanky's cleaned 2 of my 3 septic tanks a few weeks before the red light and buzzer came on, so I called Spanky's again. The technician arrived the next day and said that because the pump was humming but the liquid level was not going down, that I needed a new pump. The new pump did not make liquid level go down, so he then said the lateral lines must be clogged. I cleared/cleaned the lateral lines (hydrojetted) and during that time asked to have my old pump back, so I could test it. I asked the technician twice, asked by office email twice, but to date I have not ever received a reply, or seen the return of my old pump. After clearing the lateral lines I watched the liquid level going down, to the point that the pump shut off, but within a few seconds of the back flow occurrence the pump ran again, for a few seconds, before shutting off a 2nd time. I emailed Spanky several times, asking if this is right, of if they needed to readjust the float switch on/off level so it would not be turning the pump on/off twice every time the tank only needed to be emptied once. To date Spanky has replied once with an irrelevant ("you just want to argue") response and has never answered my simple question. Due to the combination of not returning my old pump and being ignored when asking simple questions, I will never use Spanky's again. If something changes though I will certainly update/revise this post at that time, because I only write reviews to help potential future customers know what to expect, which means reporting only the facts, as posted here.
