  I am warning you: do not do business with this company. The quality of their maintenance and inspections has been absolutely terrible. On some occasions, their technicians have made errors that resulted in problems with our system that we then had to deal with ourselves. The technicians they continue to send are consistently unprepared, unprofessional, and ineffective. They do nothing. I have repeatedly requested that one particular technician not be sent to our home because of previous negative experiences, yet they continue sending him anyway. It’s clear that customer concerns are not taken seriously. Their scheduling is just as bad. You can't go to work and have to cancel your entire day just so they can charge you to come and dilly dally for 5 minutes. They have failed to show up for scheduled monthly maintenance appointments, but still charge for it and they try to lie about it, and when they do come, they often provide little to no advance notice, causing unnecessary disruption to our schedule. Even worse, when we call the office to report problems or ask that issues be addressed, nothing gets done. We are routinely told that notes have been added to our account, but when the technician arrives, we’re told no one informed them of anything. Communication within this company appears to be nonexistent. On multiple occasions, technicians have shown up without the parts, equipment, or information needed to complete the work. We’re then told they’ll have to come back another day or wait until the following month’s maintenance visit. Meanwhile, problems they caused or were asked to fix remain unresolved. We were also misled about the system we were purchasing. Between the misleading information, poor workmanship, missed appointments, lack of communication, and complete disregard for customer concerns, this has been one of the worst service experiences we’ve ever had. We have made numerous attempts to work with this company and give them opportunities to correct these issues, but nothing changes. At this point, it seems they simply do not care. If you look at their Better Business Bureau profile, you’ll see that we’re far from the only customers who have had serious complaints. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

  This is absolutely the worst company I have ever experienced in my life!! I regret giving my $5,000 to Kinetico for a water softener and RO system. My water softener has never worked correctly even after MULTIPLE calls and technicians and plumbers coming out. Every time a technician comes out, they state my softener is not working due to a salt bridge. RIDICULOUS!!! I've never experienced this EVER!! I've owned several water systems in other homes and NEVER had an issue! Oh, and don't even try to schedule something that is convenient for you because their scheduling sucks! They usually let me know the day before they are coming out and do not give a time. We work so we can't take the whole day off to wait for a technician to arrive. I have been all home today waiting on a technician and no one showed up or even called to let me know that no one was going to come today. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!

  Kinetico of West Texas has the absolute worse customer service we have ever experienced. We got our unit at end of October 2025. They have only recently (end of June 2026) gotten things working properly. We are both in our seventies so we were happy to sign up for the service that was supposed to bring salt and put it in the system each month. The bags are way too heavy for us and my husband had back surgery a month ago. We have had to call every month because we are out of salt. They have never come without us having to call. They have just upped our salt from 2 bags to 4 bag. They were supposed to deliver last week and just left 4 bags in front of our house today (Mon) We made sure we left the gate open so they had access to our system. There is no way either of us can move~200 lbs of salt to the system and lift them up to pour into the system. The care plan has been worthless. There are other things we are unhappy about—this is just the most recent. I had to give one star to write a review—but that is too many. Edited to say:I got a reply from “the owner” but I suspect it is an automated response. The reply says to reach out to the office to get the matter resolved. Well this has never worked in the past so why should it work this time?

  This is not a knock on Ethan. He did well in troubleshooting the RO system to discover the root cause. He let us know that a tank replacement would happen the next day. When I reached out to the office the following day, they informed me that the tank was on order. I followed up again as I was not given an exact day the tank would be available but the admin did say she would call when the tank was going to arrive. On day 6, I called again to check on the status, the admin let me know that the tank order had been shipped but had no status on timing of arrival. I then asked if there was a penalty for canceling and she said no. I ended up going with a competitor who took care of me promptly. I like Kinetico products, top notch as I have had a water softener installed along with 2 ROs. The issue comes with customer service. This is where they really lack! Beware.
