  We bought our house in 1989. It was a brand new one-story 3-2-2 brick ranch, a little less than 1500 sq ft. It had never been lived in. The neighborhood and town is great, but only a year later we started noticing cracks in the brick fascade and doors were hard to close. Over the years we had it worked on by four different foundation companies. All of them failed. It was piered with Cable Lok in 1998. This was supposed to “fix it for good” as the TV ad claims. They pushed 34 concrete cylinders into the perimeter soil under the exterior footings. Lifetime warranty they said. Right… The house continued to move. We called the Cable Lok people out here many times after. Finally, I was told by the Dallas manager that they would no longer honor the lifetime warranty. They wanted more money for more concrete piers and a system that was already failing. In January 2026, I called Jorge with Ifix Construction and several other Foundation Companies for quotes. I’d seen the iFix Youtube videos and noted that they were installing driven steel piers. I was impressed with the volume and work they were doing and the commitment to the customer. His team came out and drove 41 steel piers down 33feet to bedrock. At the worst point my home was low over 8” from the reference datum. Jorge also reopened the holes for the Cable Lok piers and found some that were only driven down to only 16” deep. Jorges team tunneled 46 linear feet under the foundation to reach the worst areas that Cable Lok neglected. Those piers too went down 33 feet. 6 months later this house is rock solid. We’ve seen no cracks in the drywall or brickwork. The back door has never closed as well as it does now. I highly recommend iFix Construction if you’re having issues with your N Texas home.

  IFIX did a great job in our foundation replacement. Jorge was very knowledgeable and experienced. They were upfront and transparent on what needed to be fixed. We were very impressed with how quickly they replaced the foundation and how neat the crew kept the space as they work.

  Jorge and his team came highly recommended by a friend who has used them for their homes. They are incredibly responsive and truly work with you to find solutions. After receiving several separate bids for foundation and plumbing work—all of which seemed very invasive, Jorge assured me they could handle both simultaneously. They finished the entire project in just two weeks. Fast and efficient! Plus, seeing video updates of the progress was easily my favorite part.

  IFIX is definitely my go-to for any foundational issues. I found their process from beginning to end very engaging. Jorge took his time to explain the what’s and whys of foundation repair. They were also extremely price competitive. I would recommend them over all the big companies in the Dallas area.
