  Disappointing… The construction process was great and Vince in sales in amazing and was great with communication but unfortunately everything for us was ruined AFTER closing. Biggest thing is your have to sign that things will be competed before closing that we found on inspection with no actual proof they were completed. My husband and I had a water leak that costs us thousands of dollars right off the bat. Customer service is terrible at responding and took them weeks/ months with no problem solving in sight. They never fixed or fixed improperly our under ground water leak before closing. It was a problem that showed up on both inspection reports and all we were asking was some help on the outrageous water bills that concurred after that. But all we received after months was “not our problem, we fixed that so it’s not on us” BUT could not provide proof that they had someone come out to fix it… weird and convenient for them. I wouldn’t recommend building with Chesmar after this, if this is how their customer service is after closing.

  We recently bought our first home with them. They cut cost wherever possible. Build quality is very average for the price you pay. There were numerous construction defects and quality issues that you wouldn't normally see for a premium build. Construction was severely delayed. Post closing experience was horrible. The construction manager was extremely rude and incompetent. Customer service is almost non existent. Definitely not worth the money. My friends have had better experience with Chesmar in other communities. Bottomline- Stay away from Chesmar at this location in Deerbrooke.
