  They added on a charge after they did the labor without consulting first- they tried to charge me $650 to put my toilet and sink back in that they removed- they purposefully left it out of the quote which seemed sketchy. They did negotiate down to $350, but I still feel this was very unfair and shady. I would use another flooring company. If you do use them be very careful!! The work they did was fine though.

  We wanted to replace about 1,200 sq foot of old carpet downstairs. We tried getting quotes and dealing with large box store retailers, but did not have a good experience. We decided to get a quote from Five Star because they were local and close to our home. Samantha came out and was very professional. She quickly measured and made the entire process a pleasant experience. She promptly provided us with a reasonable quote, everything was handled by docusign, and they scheduled the work the next week. The crew arrived on time, helped move furniture, and quickly removed all our old carpet. They leveled the floors and had the entire install completed in two days. The crew was very professional, hard working, and meticulous. They did a great job on our floors. I will be using Five Star Flooring for all my flooring and bathroom renovations moving forward. If you are considering new floors, do not waste your time with box stores or other large companies. Go see Five Star Floors and support our local business owners. They are doing outstanding work.   5 Star Flooring is the place to go if you want knowledgeable people that give excellent service! They also have a large selection of quality products to choose from. Sam did a great job..."5 Star" in my opinion!

  From day one Five Star Floors has been exceptional with the entire experience. I originally spoke with Liz who allowed us to take home some samples to get a good idea of how it would turn out. She was patient and non-aggressive and communicated great. After we decided on our floors Sam came out to measure our area and she was wonderful with the entire process from paying attention to detail to answering all our questions and addressing our needs. We were scheduled for floor installation soon after and the crew they selected for the job was amazing as they worked diligently to get the job done with minimal down time. They were able to do our entry, living, dinning and stairs within 3 days!!! To add to this great experience one of our windows was cracked during the process of tile removal and even though they technically didnt have to replace it according to their policy they replaced our window with no problem! Talk about delivering a great customer experience! If you've worked with retail businesses and contractors you must already know how stressful and time consuming this process can be. The ladies at Five Star Floors (Liz & Sam), the floor Crew (Zeke) & Sylvestre the guy who painted our quarter rounds provided nothing short of an EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. Price was right and customer service went above and beyond. A great group of PEOPLE who actually care about service. Thank you Five Star Floors!
