  The team at lantz home service did an exceptional job at our home replacing our ac unit and air handler. Its been over a week now since the install and We now have a home that stays cool all day long!

  Cooper was the technician who serviced my mom’s A/C. He was very polite and fixed the problem right away. We will definitely be passing this company's name around . They get a 10 from us. Thanks Lantz Home services.

  The last thing anyone wants is your AC to go out on a Friday in the Texas heat. When I couldn't get anyone else out same day Angel at Lantz came out. He let me see how bad of shape our 8 year old AC unit was (thanks builder who didn't put in the warranty). Instead of a temp fix, we decided to go with a new unit that would keep us from having the same issue. The next morning John SlobodZian and Jeffrey Mossien came out to install the new one. Angel came back by to check in on things also. Although an expense no one wants and I probably could have found someone cheaper if I chose to wait days or a week, I do have to say these guys were fantastic, respectful, explained things to me in detail, showed me the old unit. I could not have asked for better customer service.

  Do not use this company. I had a terrible experience using Lantz when I contacted them to service a vacation home. They left our front door wide open and unlocked and the technician took the spare key with him! When I called them about it, they said “the technician is going to bring it back”…. No explanation for why he didn’t lock up and took the key with him and why he left the door open… no apology, nothing. Every time they came out, they quoted us an insane price to make any fixes ($350 to replace a water filter… something that only takes about 5 minutes and that I’ve done multiple times). They left the water shut off and didn’t tell me, which impacted a scheduled inspection. I had to call and ask for copies of the invoices for the charges they made on my card. When they emailed the invoices over, I see that there is a signature line and that their technician signed the invoice / agreement instead of sending it to me for my review and having me sign it (essentially, forged my signature). The invoice listed repairs that they didn’t do. When I addressed that with them, the manager said “oh, sometimes the technicians use AI to create the invoices and don’t review it for errors…” Their staff was rude and dismissive and didn’t offer anything to remedy the poor service. Completely unprofessional in every single way. I have no idea how they’re still in business. Look elsewhere.

  Can't say I had a good experience. We called for an urgent AC failure and our technician was pleasant, but wasn't able to identify any issues with the system and told us we needed an electrician. They spent a great deal of effort trying to upsell me on a subscription service I didn't need and then charged me $365 for the privilege of listening to a sales pitch and not solving my problem. I called a different HVAC service who came out and identified an issue with the AC unit right away, fixed it in maybe a half hour, and even replaced a wearing capacitor on the unit, all for less than Lantz charged me.
