We appreciate the time and effort you took to stand by your service .********* Unfortunately, after five years of ongoing issues, we are done with Parobek and will be moving to a different plumbing company. We had a whole-house water filtration system installed by Parobek about five years ago. It was very expensive at the time, and we have experienced intermittent problems with the system throughout those five years. We continued calling Parobek because we expected the company that sold and installed the system to stand behind its work. Instead, it seems that nearly every service visit ends with a recommendation or quote costing more than $2,500. Now we are being told that we should replace the system altogether, and the replacement being recommended is essentially the same type of system that Parobek removed from our home five years ago when they sold us the current one. Another major frustration is that the filtration equipment they installed is not something other plumbers can easily service because it uses a system or components that, as we understand it, are only accessible through them. That has left us feeling locked into using the same company whenever there is a problem. After spending a significant amount of money and dealing with issues for five years, I do not feel that Parobek stood behind the system they sold and installed. At this point, we have lost confidence in continuing to invest more money into their recommendations. We will be taking our business elsewhere and working with a plumber who can install and service equipment that does not leave us dependent on one company for future repairs.
