  Almost half a million dollars later and I can’t flush my toilets. Septic system improperly installed and the builder refused to take responsibility. They won’t even return my calls. Paid for an extended warranty and they say it doesn’t take effect for two years so the builder is responsible. Builder puts the blame on the installer who pretends to be someone else when I call. This should be illegal. Such a disappointment to but a new home and get treated like trash

  We purchased a Chesmar Home in the August Fields community in New Braunfels in August 2023. Within the first month, we noticed a random noise from the master shower corner but were unable to identify the source because every time a Chesmar representative would come out, we couldn't recreate the sound. After several subs coming to investigate over the next year or so, Chesmar stepped up and made the decision to start from scratch and rebuild the shower from the slab and studs up. That did the trick and we are enjoying a "random noise-free" shower! Kudos to Mike and Jen for their unrelenting persistence in resolving this annoying problem and following it through to the end goal of complete customer satisfaction! I'm a retired HVAC contractor and I used to tell my customers that the true test of a contractor is not how they treat you before the sale, it's how well they treat you after the check has cleared the bank! Thank you Chesmar!
