  Houston Custom Carpets Flooring & Remodeling are fantastic contractor for any home renovation needs. They helped us design, then built customized sunroom and patio room for our home. Matt ensured to understand our requirements and expectations, & oversaw the entire project and Galo and his team built from scratch beautiful, comfortable and spacious rooms. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish and we are thoroughly enjoying our new living spaces. We highly recommend their work and definitely will be using them again!

  I know Houston Custom Carpets has a lot of positive reviews, which is one of the reasons a customer would expect a company with this reputation to stand behind its workmanship when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, my experience has been very different. I reported problems with my flooring immediately after installation. What followed was a partial replacement, more than 20 attempts to obtain a resolution, communications with multiple employees, an independent flooring inspection paid for by the manufacturer, and ultimately a face-to-face meeting with the owner. After all of that, my flooring is still not resolved. What makes my experience especially concerning is that Houston Custom Carpets attributed the problem to the flooring manufacturer. However, the independent FCITS inspector ultimately stated in his written report that he “would not consider this manufacturing related.” So while I recognize that many customers apparently have had positive experiences with this company, my review is about what happened when my installation developed problems and I needed the company to stand behind its work. In my opinion, that’s when you truly learn what kind of company you’re dealing with.

  Had LVP floors installed, felt and saw lifting between some of the boards within a couple of months. Let them know immediately, they redid a lot of the flooring. Months later same thing starts happening again. They said it was a manufacturing issue. Manufacturer said if there is something wrong with the product they will have it fixed. Manufacturer got with them, they agreed to send out a 3rd party inspector. Inspector said the issue is due to installation, gave the report to both parties. Houston custom carpet said all they will do is sale us more flooring 50% off and we can pay to have another company install it. Before having our floors done we never had a single issue with them (floors were great from 2004-2023) and now the owner Bill is trying to go against the report saying the foundation shifted and it’s not on them, he is also sticking with it being a faulty product despite the inspection report. We trusted our home with them and I regret that decision everyday

  We couldn’t be happier with our kitchen remodel! From start to finish, the team was trustworthy, professional, and honored the schedule. The skilled craftsmen paid great attention to detail, and we loved having so many beautiful selections to choose from. They truly went above and beyond to make our kitchen beautiful. We highly recommend them!

  Matt is AMAZING! Beyond knowledgeable and very patient!! He sat with us and helped us chose the perfect products that were within our budget but met all our needs for our family of 6!! Definitely will be doing all our business through him
