I had confirmed reservation on 03/06/26 and pick up time was 8 am. I went to this place and they told me that we don't have any rental electric pallet jack ,because all pallet jacks had been rented by Rodeo Houston. The question why my reservation had been confirmed on 03/02/26 and they confirmed the reservation.Even I completed all account creation details. They wasted my time and messed it up my schedule.The reps told me that they called me that but their phone shows as Spam call and they should have sent the email or left the voice message. As result totally disappointing experience and unprofessional service especially they should have thought if someone do same careless service how would it be thought?As summary stay away or make sure one day before even it has confirmed reservation.They don't care at all.

@Daniel M. First of all one star for a paperwork issue? Goto any rental company. They ALL have paperwork issues. Daniel is obviously an employee at a competitors company. I have worked in the business for 10 years and for different companys. In all the places to work and get good rental equipment sunbelt is the best hands down no doubt about it. You notice Daniel didnt say anything about the quality of the equipment he rented which is usually newer and under warranty still. Have you looked at the same equipment from United Rentals? No comparison in quality and price. One star for a paperwork issue? Lol right!

Here are the facts:
I called in at 4:50 to drop off my company’s rental equipment. It was dropped off before they closed. I had a full conversation with a gentleman that works there during those 10 minutes left. He told me I didn’t have to sign anything. I text my supervisor after I dropped off that the equipment was returned. I’m receiving a call 3 weeks later that the equipment was not returned.
My opinion: this is not good processing of returns of rental equipment. This service deserves less than 1 star.
All you need is your driver’s license or a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card to pay for the rental upfront. No extra deposit is required.

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. Call 800-667-9328 if you have any questions.
What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.

What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
