  This review is for the customer service we received and the total experience of the closing. Firstly, the communication between departments really lacks. I can begin by saying that my closing date was cancelled an hour before scheduled due to a major oversight on their part. This was a major inconvenience due to both my husband and I taking off work and I also had just came off my night shift as a healthcare worker. When tried to get accommodate it for the inconvenience we were rudely shut down by an employee name John Akins where he spoke to us very rude and unprofessional. My husband almost did not want to sign and move forward with the purchase due to how offended we felt by the way this man spoke to us. After considering that I did wanted this house my husband agreed just to satisfy me. Overall, the design of the house is nice which is why we decided to move forward with the purchase however, the materials and paint are cheap with many finishing errors that were found, some were addressed and some have yet to be addressed. Additionally, the construction crews that are currently working on the new homes have thrown trash on our lawn and on multiple occasion they use the leaf blower to blow dust around and it gets into people’s home and vehicles. Overall, we are not fully satisfied with Chesmar. Moving forward in the future we will definitely go with another builder.
