  Starlight homes itself has been amazing. With the exception of the lie “the HOA isn’t involved they just don’t want your houses to be painted people” The HOA they have hired is AWFUL. The manager is so rude. She is so unhelpful. They get you for any and every small thing. If you like to use your garage for anything other than your vehicle?? Don’t buy here. That’s not allowed. You can’t even have to open to store your lawn mower. You’ll get a violation. They won’t do anything about this company going out of control. I don’t recommend anyone moving here for that sole purpose. I hope things get better when the neighborhood is fully developed. But this HOA has made everyone’s lives a living hell for the past 2 years. It’s time for things to change. Don’t move here.

  very disappointed with quality of this home after two years of ownership. we where the third home purchased. Dishwater died 13 months in 1 month out of warranty, 14 months in the fridge died . dryer has had issues since day one . the ac unit was not installed correctly costing us $600 to fix . main electrical panel had issues the first of the month and the electrical company the builder used would not warranty the work . Another $1000. the fix the issues . And now surprise the electric range they installed just died . the warranty company is useless and countless calls to the builder where no help. Oh and you pay $500 a year for an HOA with no benefits other than getting fines for parking , trash cans , having a bag of dirt in the front yard while working in the yard . where is the pond , walking paths etc promised at move in , we just pay someone $500 a year to find faults

  Great buying experience but was lied to about a relaxed HOA. The neighbors are great and friendly and build quality is nice but HOA makes it a nightmare.
