  Groundworks Foundation Repair exceeded every single expectation I had for such a major project. The overall quality of their work is unmatched, and the entire process—from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough—was seamless, transparent, and executed with top-tier craftsmanship. Sales & Consultation: Mr. McGhee set the bar incredibly high from day one. His presentation was clear, realistic, and completely honest regarding numbers and structural expectations. He took the time to walk me through the entire foundation design, thoroughly explaining piers, pressure points, and strategy using photos and videos of past projects. What really sets Mr. McGhee apart is his dedication: he was accessible day and night, staying on top of everything from the initial bid through work completion. He consistently went above and beyond to build my confidence, patiently walking me through every line of the contract, handling updates promptly, and advocating with his management team to ensure everything was set up perfectly. The Crew: When it came time for the actual repair, the frontline crew—Mr. Ken, Daniel, and Salvador—proved to be an absolute dream team. Over the course of two days, this trio worked with incredible focus, calm professionalism, and a relentless work ethic. I was blown away by their attention to detail and care for my property; they ensured not a single pipe was broken, no wires were cut, and no trees were unnecessarily trimmed. They kept me updated every step of the way, making me feel completely involved and informed throughout the entire project. The experience, hard work, and care this entire team brought to the job are truly incomparable. I have no words to express how much I appreciate their effort, and I wish Mr. Kim, Daniel, Salvador, and Mr. McGhee the absolute best. Outstanding job, Groundworks!

  Jakalon and Raza were fantastic fixing my driveway. They were on time and efficient, and they walked through the work order both before and after. Very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend Groundworks.

  I had an inspection last night, and was quite impressed with Maceo, the inspector. I had booked an appointment to have an issue with my driveway examined, and was confident enough after speaking with him and witnessing his inspection that I engaged his firm's services. Looking forward to giving another review when the work is completed.

  I cannot say enough good things about Ryan Cole with Groundworks. From the beginning, he was incredibly straightforward & honest with us. He simply gave it to us straight, explained what we actually needed, & went way above and beyond to help us - honestly, far more than he had to. When you’re dealing with foundation issues, it can be stressful & difficult to know who you can trust. Ryan is exactly the kind of person you want in your corner. He is knowledgeable, genuine, fair, & clearly cares about helping people rather than just making a sale. We walked away feeling like he truly had our best interest in mind. That is incredibly rare & appreciated. If you have the opportunity to work with Ryan, ask for him. We would request him again without hesitation.   I’m very disappointed in my experience with Groundworks. The salesmen were charming and informative, of course, but I was unfortunately given false information & didn’t know until after the service was completed. First, let’s start with the work that I had completed. I had a concrete pad on my driveway lifted. That was actually the only part of the work done well. We live on a hill. When assessing the area, and providing a recommendation, everything seemed as though it would go well. There was one slab of concrete that was uneven, trip hazard and not aesthetically pleasing. We opted for this service as an alternative to replacement, but in retrospect, I would have went with replacement at a future date. After the service was completed, I was not happy with the way that the sidewalk looked and I asked a question about a revision. They asked for photos, which I provide provided, but anyone who has ever took a picture to convey depth knows that iPhone is unable to accurately depict depth. The service provider was incredibly condescending. It reeked of sexism, the same way that mechanics try to take advantage of women and talk down on them, that was the vibe this man gave. He said “we can’t bend concrete.” Well of course you can’t, and what an ignorant thing to say to a customer. The salesman offered to come back out and reassess. When he got there, he apologized that my expectations were not met and stated that I would need to adjust a couple more slabs in order to get the result I wanted. To do that, I was looking at a total of $6000. Why would I spend $6000 to lift three slabs of concrete as opposed to simply replacing it? I let it go, lesson learned and moved on. I was not going to make a post giving a negative review to a small business. But then, I received a call from the in-house finance company. Let’s go back to the beginning when I said I was given false information. This was not a service that I needed to have done right away. I wanted it done though, and they said that their in-house financing offered a 24 month same as cash offer. Not only that I did not need to pay any payments, I could pay lump sum at any point in time that I wanted to even waiting all the way until the month before, as long as it was paid off in full on time. That is the only reason that I had the service done at the time that I did. I would have waited and just paid cash. Yes it is 24 months same as cash, but it must be paid with a minimum payment each month. Of course I’m going to pay it, I don’t want my credit to be damaged but I don’t appreciate being lied to. What’s worse? I sent a message to the salesman and his one-up and neither of them responded at all. No acknowledgment, no apology. Nothing. Very disappointed in my experience. Beware the fine print which differs greatly from how they make their sale, don’t deliver on what’s promised, and are condescending or ignore customer concerns.
