My home is only 5 years old but the gas control valve went out on my Bradford White gas water heater. The water heater has a six year warranty on both tank and parts but not labor to address any failures. After receiving an estimate from another plumbing company for $570 to replace the warranted gas control valve, which is about a 20 minute job, I elected to obtain other estimates. Locke Supply Company in Bedford recommended Deaton and the entire job including picking up the replacement valve at Locke and installing it only cost me $179. I highly recommend Deaton and Chris, the technician, for their honesty, professionalism and expertise. It’s refreshing to find a company such as this.
