Had a great experience with Claudio from Texas plumbing. Had a stopped up toilet and Claudio took care of the issue. He was very friendly, called before he came, and also let us know options for the hard water we have. I was very happy with the service and Claudio. Definitely recommend Texas plumbing with their prompt reply back and ease of scheduling a service appointment.
We recently hired Texas Quality Plumbing to replace my old kitchen sink, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. From the initial quote to the final cleanup, the experience was seamless. Cedric, Brandon, Michael and Arnold did a fantastic job. What really stood out are:
· Punctuality: The plumber arrived right on time and explained the entire process before starting.
· Skill & speed: The old sink was removed and the new one installed properly and timely.
· Cleanliness: They laid down drop cloths, wore shoe covers, and cleaned up every scrap of debris and caulk.
· Fair pricing: No hidden fees. The quote matched the final invoice exactly.
The new sink functions well and I’ll definitely call them again for any future plumbing needs. Highly recommended!
Had a water heater installed today. The techs Brandon and Arnold came out, removed the old tank, very quickly, and installed the new one ...in less than than 2 hours. Very professional, and my home was still clean when they left. I am very satisfied with their work! Also want to mention the tech Eric Soto, who came out the day before, to diagnose my water heater issue, and provided very helpful and professional recommendations. Again, very satisfied with all of their work! Will definitely be using Texas Quality Plumbers, in the future!
I discovered a gas leak by my meter an hour before we were leaving on a Cruise out of Galveston. I contacted Center Point to shut off the gas, then left for the Cruise. I had a Texas Quality Plumbing business card from a prior job. I called their office from the ship and they set up the whole project for me. After I agreed to the scope of work and price they got started. They were finished before we got back from our Cruise. Herminio and Jo Jo were awesome. Great work!
Texas Quality Plumbing – Costly Mistake. Read Before You Hire.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so egregious that I feel obligated to warn others.
In June 2025, I contacted Texas Quality Plumbing for a persistent water leak in front of my home that was driving up my water bill. Their representative, Claudio, quickly diagnosed the issue as a faulty water line and recommended a full replacement—an expensive fix they said could be completed the next day. Their contract explicitly promised: “We will test and ensure there are no more leaks.”
After paying thousands of dollars, they proceeded to tear up my driveway and destroy my landscaping from the street to my home.
And the result?
The leak was never fixed.
My water bill stayed high.
Standing water remained in front of my house every single day.
When I called them back, they sent another representative, Tracy, who astonishingly claimed the job was “successful” because—according to her—there were no leaks in the specific line they chose to replace. She even put in writing: “Texas Quality Plumbing has fulfilled its contractual obligations.”
Let that sink in:
They charged thousands, caused significant property damage, did not fix the problem, and still claimed the job was complete.
Then it got worse.
Instead of correcting their mistake, they suggested tearing up my entire backyard to “look for the leak”—or, alternatively, offered to replace a backflow meter for $1,239 (discounted to $739).
At that point, I brought in a second plumber.
He identified the actual issue immediately: the backflow meter.
He fixed it for under $500 total.
The leak was resolved that same day.
My water bill dropped to under $50 immediately.
This raises serious concerns about how Texas Quality Plumbing diagnoses problems and prices repairs. The contrast between their approach and the actual solution speaks for itself.
I have since retained legal counsel and am pursuing claims for deceptive practices.
Bottom line:
They recommended an expensive, unnecessary repair
They failed to fix the actual problem
They caused avoidable property damage
They attempted to charge even more afterward
Proceed with extreme caution. Get a second opinion before agreeing to any major work.
Don’t make the same expensive mistake I did.
