  Had issues with smoke detectors shorting out plus 3 light switches that would occasionally pop when flipping on and off. Being that I’m not an electrician I started calling around for electricians, 2 which never called back. My wife said we just received the Five Star Rated 2026 Montgomery County Homeowner Referral Guidebook, we found Mr Sparky and decided to give them a call. They immediately answered the phone and had someone scheduled the next morning. They texted updates and confirmed the appointment then sent the bio of the electrician. Larry was the electrician that was sent to our home and after listening to my description of the issues he informed us of what he was going to do to find the issue with costs, after our approval he began working. After finding the issue he had it fixed within an hour. He then replaced 3 bad light switches of which one of them had burned and we didn’t even know it. I would recommend Mr Sparky and if you can request Larry! Thanks Larry for a great job.

  In my opinion, this company uses “code compliance” as a sales tactic to justify unnecessary and extremely expensive repairs. I was told I needed major electrical upgrades and replacements, but after getting a second opinion, another licensed electrician fixed the actual issue for a fraction of the cost. It felt like they were trying to upsell me by making routine or non-urgent items sound like critical safety hazards. I would strongly recommend getting multiple estimates before agreeing to any large repair they propose. Based on my experience, I believe they overstate problems and use code-related language to pressure homeowners into spending far more than necessary.

  We had a great experience with Mister Sparky! Our electrician Reagan was knowledgeable, thorough, and very friendly. He diagnosed and fixed a few outlets that had stopped working, then did an excellent job installing our new light/ceiling fan fixtures. Everything works perfectly now. Reagan took the time to explain what he was doing along the way. Appreciated his professionalism. Would definitely recommend Mister Sparky!

  I have NO idea how I got a Mister Sparky magnet on my refrigerator, but WOOOOOOOO I'm sure glad I do. Within one hour of one of my breakers breaking. A service technician was at my house. Everything about this company was AWESOME. From the beautiful sultry voiced person that took my call and information to the professional technician that diagnosed and solved the problem. People listen to me. Call Mister Sparky for your electrical needs. You will be thanking me later.

  I recently had an issue with bad wiring in the BY because of old construction. Ryan, Jarit, and the team and Mister Sparky responded with alacrity but also empathy, fully understanding my situation and giving me the right answers and with ease of understanding it. They were fully transparent in all steps and gave me a reasonable price for the excellent work they had done. Other houses will likely run into the same situation that I have, and I will be handing over all the contact information over to them for future work. Excellent job through-and-through.
