Yes, we cannot accept the following materials: manhole covers, grave markers and vases, traffic signs, telephone wire, railroad scrap, burnt wire, unused rebar, fire hydrants, chain link fence (with certain exceptions), shopping carts, catalytic converters, historical markers, guardrails, paper, locked safes, propane tanks, pressurized or closed containers (must be clearly open and vented), gas tanks (must be drained), oxygen tanks (must be clearly open), aerosol cans, military scrap, A/C freon, cleaning supplies, sharps or needles, wood, carpet, plastic, printers, waste, televisions, monitors, mercury, vacuums, clothes, tires, rubber, glass, office chairs, concrete, and mattresses.
