I don't write reviews often, but I felt this one was deserved.
My experience with High Performance Home Systems didn't get off to the best start. There was a scheduling mix-up and some communication issues that left me wondering if I'd chosen the right company. I even left a frustrated review.
That's when everything changed.
Instead of making excuses, they owned it. Travis reached out personally, apologized, and made it clear they wanted to make things right. From that point on, they gave my project the attention it needed.
I wasn't looking for a quick fix—I had a difficult humidity problem in a 1934 Houston home that multiple contractors hadn't been able to solve. High Performance took the time to understand the house as a system rather than simply trying to sell me equipment. They performed a detailed evaluation, identified issues that had been overlooked, optimized my two-stage Trane system, corrected airflow and control settings, repaired and insulated the refrigerant lineset, installed a Trane XL824 thermostat with a RoomIQ sensor, and addressed the real causes of the problem instead of just recommending expensive equipment.
The results have been dramatic. Indoor humidity has dropped from the upper 60% range into the low-to-mid 50s, the house is noticeably more comfortable, and the system is finally operating the way it was designed to. There may still be a little fine-tuning left in one room, but the original problem that led me to call them has essentially been solved.
Anyone can look good when everything goes perfectly. What impressed me was how they responded when things didn't. They stood behind their work, communicated well, and delivered exactly what they promised.
I won't hesitate to use High Performance Home Systems for all of my HVAC needs going forward, and I can confidently recommend them to anyone looking for a company that takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly instead of just selling equipment.
