  $30K new wood floor DID NOT HOLD UP, EVEN FOR 6 MONTHS! Tim Hogans Response- “NOT MY PROBLEM” Beware of doing business with them. This business will not stand behind the products they sell or the work they do. Our Reward Brand high end wood floor faded dramatically soon after purchase leaving very noticeable lines and flaws. Upon speaking with Penny (who sold us the floor) they were not willing to come inspect or help in any way. When asked whom else we could speak to I was told “there is no escalation from here”. However, they were willing to charge me 2x the amount per sf I paid originally to replace the now marred boards they sold me. This floor replaced a 20-year-old wood floor that had absolutely no issues in the exact same environment. Now my situation is: 1) have a $30k ruined floor 6 months after install 2) Tim Hogans is not willing to help 3) Tim Hogans is only willing to replace flooring for twice what I originally paid This is my 1st ever review and do so to help others avoid the experience I have had

  Penny at the Grapevine location is a dream to work with. She’s immensely knowledgeable and was able to beat my other quotes by over $4,000 (with a higher quality carpet to boot). The carpet crew was highly skilled and efficient (1000 sq ft in about 6 hours). I am 100% satisifed and cannot recommend them highly enough. Skip the national chains and use this local, family-owned company instead!

  Recommended to us by a friend. We had them put carpet in 3 rooms and closet and vinyl in kitchen and bathrooms. Asked to have the transition pieces fixed when they did this and we were told they could do that. Carpet installed without issue, however the vinyl in the kitchen had major bubbles. No trim was installed and bad transition pieces were put back in instead of new corrected ones as stipulated. I was told they could not find the trim as it was discontinued, so I went to Lowes and bought the transition pieces myself (yeah, not discontinued). Took them a week to decide to replace the kitchen. Although no bubbles the second time, they put down 0 (zero) trim, so there are places you can see the floor throughout. When asking the installers about it they said they were not told to put down trim, but there was 3 pieces of 1/4 round sitting in the truck! They also only installed only the two transition pieces instead of corrected them all. I am now going back in to correct their work. Cannot recommend. Next to no communication, no oversight of installers. They just didn't care about what was put in.

  This is how home projects are supposed to work. I enter, look around, the sales guys answer questions, are low pressure, give me options according to my needs, and are confident enough to say “Why are you doing that?” without being insulting. George, the main man, is no nonsense but not unpleasant. Very accommodating. When it was install time for new hardwoods and carpet, the workers arrived on time, were amazingly quick, and did a fantastic job. Prices were comparable to other choices nearby. I wish these guys could do all my home renovation projects.
