I was trying to get quotes for our master bathroom and I blocked off 3 hours as requested. Then they wouldn’t do a quote because my husband wasn’t there. What year is it? I told them when they called to reschedule that my husband wasn’t interested in sitting down with them and for me to just get the quote and they refused saying he had to be there. We aren’t doing financing or anything just trying to get a quote. Absolutely frustrating!

We chose statewide for remodeling the showers in two bathrooms and installing new flooring in one of them. The plan was to complete the first shower then move to the other bathroom. This way we would not be without a shower for an extended period. Of course it did not work as planned.
The construction guys showed up the first day and ripped out the old shower to prepare for the plumber to come. When the Statewide plumber came, he walked through my front door complaining. He gripped about being sent in the afternoon for an all-day job. Complained it was too much for one guy. And pointed out he would only work until five PM because it was his birthday and he had plans. He contacted someone with Statewide and was told to leave they would get someone else. A contract plumber (Gladiator Plumbing) came by about 7 that evening and came up with a plan for how to fix our issues but it would require demolition of our second shower at the same time. This was our first delay, waiting for construction to be put back on schedule to demolish the second shower.
Contract plumber came and got the plumbing under the house up to code so we could continue the project. As soon as the contract plumber finished, I reached out to our project manager, Tyler, and he assured me there would be no issue with the inspection…this was not the case. The Statewide master plumber decided he was not comfortable taking on the responsibility of the contract plumber, even though he had many times in the past. This caused a delay in inspection while this dilemma was resolved.
After the under-house plumbing was inspected and we were able to get moving again we had another opportunity to work with another Statewide plumber. Just know this one did not complain as much as the first, but he certainly did not want to do the work. Installing the water lines and drains seemed to me to be a straightforward project. Clearly it was not. Statewide plumber number two said, “I don’t even see where the water is coming in from”. Again, phone calls were made, and this guy was allowed to leave, thank goodness!
The contract plumber was contacted and scheduled to complete the plumbing. And yes, that caused another delay.
We finally made it to shower installation only to find out the water lines were routed too high to accommodate our shower nook. This happened because Statewide did not share plans and drawing with contractor plumber. Gladiator Plumbing came back that same evening and rerouted the water lines. He came after he had finished his schedule that day because he genuinely felt bad for how long this job was taking. In all of this, he was the only one who cared.
The contractor doing the work was great. He was always there when scheduled and did a good job on both showers. The flooring though is a different issue. He did a good enough job for someone who did not necessarily know how to correctly install Lifeproof tile flooring. I think a company would take the necessary steps to ensure contractors know how to install all the products, considering the cost of these kinds of things.
During our meeting with Tyler to finalize paperwork we discussed all the delays. We explained the delays were all due to lack of communication on the part of Statewide. His reply of “Yeah, we know” blew my mind. I guess since it isn’t their homes without a place to bathe for over three weeks it is not something they would want to fix.
As a last note: due to all the delays Tyler said they would refund the cost of the code-updated work done under the house by Gladiator Plumbing. This project was completed February 26; we finally received the refund check April 1. When they made out the check, they transposed our last names and misspelled one of them. I contacted Tyler by text on April 2 and correctly spell both names in full and am still sitting here on May 6, 2026, waiting for them to reissue another check.

I was really looking forward to getting a quote from Statewide Remodeling. However, they refused to meet with just me, without my husband present. They did state that they wouldn’t have met with just my husband without me present as well, so clearly this isn’t sexist. Either way, that is ridiculous! I am fully capable of getting a bid and making family decisions on my own. Of course I’d get my husband’s opinion, but he wouldn’t need to be present for me to get a bid. I cancelled the appointment and will never do business with this company. Their policy lost a potential customer.

I’ve never used this service, signed up for a quote or consultation, and never provided them my contact information but I have been harassed non-stop by them. Every day they call me multiples times a day from different phone numbers so they can get through the spam blocker. When I’ve asked them to stop calling, they just continue. Every two hours on the hour. This is insane! I don’t know where they got my information, but I would absolutely NEVER use this company just based on this persistent harassment

NEVER USE STATEWIDE! Save yourself grief and frustration!
Ongoing lack of repair of sunroom that had multiple rebuilds to keep the floor from flooding. Finally, no leaks on the floor after several years, but upper window has NO stripping to hold glass in place, so wind buckles it and rain comes in. Had to duck tape windows in place over a month ago. to keep it from buckling and making horrible noises, plus to keep rain out.
Statewide refuses to take responsibility for repairs due to a business fracture with the fabricators of the sunroom kit, TEMO. Yet TEMO tosses the job back to Statewide.
Oh by the way, this has been ongoing for 10 years and after spending multiple thousands of dollars at time of construction.
This is a formal complaint. Contract for this sun room was signed with Statewide Remodeling, with lifetime warranty, but they deny responsibility for current issue that is due to failure to place 2 straips that hold an upper window in place. The sticky tape between windows and inside has come loose and now window no longer seals or remains in place.
All that is required is for window stripping to be placed and for windows to be sealed again!!
Failure to get positive action, will lead to spreading the word! Possibly going up a notch to local TV station or politician. This letter will be placed on our neighborhood Facebook page, as well as anywhere else I can share it to help others from suffering this kind of challenge.
We were directed to contact another patio enclosure company to have them deal with the problem, because Statewide refused to contact TEMO with the issue. Plus we were told to pay out of pocket until inspected by Statewide after completion! NOT happening!
We are DONE with being kind and patient. Please check our history in your records. We have had to have had at minimum THIRTY repair calls, three rebuilds and now more for this job.
We were dumb enough to allow Statewide to build a pergola connected to this room, which was also done wrong and rebuilt!!!
NEVER AGAIN.
Please escalate this letter to the CEO, and anyone else that needs to intervene.
