  I’m a Project Manager for Good Contractors Roofing and Restoration in Fort Worth. Our projects often go beyond the Metroplex. I don’t do a whole lot of reviews, but when I experience exceptional customer service, I like to recognize it. We were wrapping up a water restoration project in Glen Rose when our lead contractor asked me to go pick up some polyurethane for him. I took a picture of the can he’d just run out of so I could match it up exactly. I traveled into town to Higginbotham Brothers and was greeted by Terry when I came in. I asked her if she could help me locate what I needed. She immediately led me over to the Paint section and we began searching for a match for what I was seeking. Given that they were different brands, we had to go by attributes. (water based / oil based, etc.) Since the two brands didn’t match up exactly, Terry took it to the next level by employing AI on her phone to find the exact cross that met all the criteria. I was able to make the purchase and get back to the job right away. Coincidentally, when I got back to the job, I started telling our lead contractor about my experience and before I could finish, he interrupted and said he knew who I was talking about because he had had the same experience with Terry the day before. What made Terry exceptional was her warm approach to helping me and her enthusiasm for solving the problem by whatever means necessary. She gave me her undivided attention and treated me as if I was the only one in the store. I felt as if I’d known her for years. (How many times have you asked for assistance and gotten directed to “Aisle 5” as they walk away?) What’s more amazing is that during our interaction I learned that she had only been there a few weeks and already had a command and confidence that new people seldom exhibit. In my opinion, Terry has raised the customer service bar and set the standard by which others should be measured. I believe Higginbotham Brothers found a real treasure in Terry.

  Got propane refilled there. There is only one guy that does the propane refill, so of course, he was on lunch. So I had to come back later when he was back. Not to big of a deal, but need more then one capable person to fill propane.
