  Andrew is knowlegable and most of all honest about what was wrong and what needed to get fixed. He did not waste anytime and got right to it as soon as he got here. Great service and most of all trustworthy!

  DTC A/C Technician Richard did an excellent job repairing our A/C issue. He completed a through exam of our air conditioners. Richard was very friendly, knowledgeable of his work, timely, and helpful. I also have to give the DTC Staff five stars for being so friendly and helpful. I would recommend DTC to anyone and they are not overpriced for their service.

  Today, I had an urgent a/c issue with the condensor motor/fan not staying on more than a few seconds when signaling the air conditioner to come on. That began last evening at around 8:00. I called DTC this morning before opening hours and Gary said he would work me in to the schedule as soon as humanly possible today, hopefully around 2:00. Andrew Barrett arrived exactly at his appointed time and I must say he had a smile on his face - you don't see that much. He asked about the symptoms/behavior of the system, then said "I'll get right on it". After he progressed through his troubleshooting steps, he discovered that the capacitor was the issue because the HERM terminal was not supplying the 30uf capacitance for which it was rated. He slapped a new capacitor in and viola, the unit kicked on just like a new one. Man, what a welcomed relief to have A/C on demand after going all night without it. You have to hand it to those guys, working in that hellish heat is not something I would want to do. After presenting the invoice for signature, Andrew took his time to explain all warranties on our unit and what to expect going forward if certain components were to fail or need replacing - good things to know ahead of time. Andrew was cordial, gracious, and readily knowledgeable about his position as an A/C technician. I appreciate his spot on assessments of issues and his ability to cut through the noise of "what if t his or what if that" and just trust his technical analysis of the system at hand. I am pleased with Andrew's work and trust the results produced by his efforts. DTC has a good man in Andrew Barrett. Would recommend DTC any day of the week.
