Mr. Cooper is very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions as he works. He was able to complete all of our requests. In spite of encountering multiple unexpected issues, Mr. Cooper came through in all instances.

CC Electrical did a fantastic job for me recently installing some external disconnects that I needed for some new mini-split A/C units that I was having installed. Clay responded quickly to my inquiry, came right out and looked over what I had in mind, and gave me a more than fair estimate considering some of the specifics I requested. The job was completed ahead of schedule and most of all done correctly! I would recommend anyone needing electrical work done to give them a call.

Clay kept in touch with me while I was trying to get ready for my generator to be hooked up. Very patient man.. He came and installed it for me, and did a very good job. Clay is a very nice man. Will use him again.
Frequently Asked Questions About ETX CC Electrical & Construction
How much does electrical repair cost?
Electrical repair costs depend on the problem's complexity, materials needed, and labor time required. Simple outlet repairs typically cost less than panel replacements or extensive rewiring projects.
What's included in electrical maintenance?
Electrical maintenance includes inspecting panels, testing outlets and switches, checking wiring connections, and identifying potential safety hazards before they become costly problems.
How long do generator installations take?
Most residential generator installations take 1-2 days depending on electrical panel requirements and transfer switch complexity. Weather conditions and permit processing may extend timelines.
When should I upgrade my electrical panel?
Upgrade your electrical panel if you have frequent breaker trips, outdated fuse boxes, or plan major appliance additions. Modern panels provide better safety and accommodate increased electrical loads.
Can I add outlets to existing rooms?
Yes, licensed electricians can add outlets to existing rooms by running new circuits or extending current ones. Code requirements determine outlet spacing and GFCI protection needs.
What causes frequent electrical problems?
Frequent electrical problems often stem from outdated wiring, overloaded circuits, or loose connections. Regular maintenance and timely upgrades prevent most recurring electrical issues.
How do backup generators work?
Backup generators automatically start when power outages occur, using transfer switches to safely disconnect from utility power and supply electricity to essential home circuits.
Why hire professional electrical contractors?
Professional electrical contractors ensure work meets safety codes, prevent fire hazards, and provide warranties on installations. DIY electrical work often creates dangerous situations and code violations.
What's involved in new construction wiring?
New construction wiring includes planning electrical layouts, installing service panels, running circuits throughout the structure, and coordinating with other trades for proper timing and placement.
How often should electrical systems be inspected?
Electrical systems should be inspected every 3-5 years for residential properties. Older homes, frequent electrical issues, or major renovations may require more frequent professional inspections.
