This is, without a doubt, one of the most disappointing customer experiences I’ve ever had.
I purchased a brand-new A/C unit from this company, and despite calling the office three separate times to have the unit replaced, I’ve now been waiting over a month with absolutely no resolution.
Every time I reach out, I’m told that the issue has been “escalated.” Escalated to whom? A manager? VP? CEO? Owner? At this point, I honestly have no idea, because nobody seems capable of responding or taking responsibility.
Emails, phone calls, and even in-person visits have gotten me nowhere. The complete lack of communication and accountability is incredibly frustrating. I’ve spent well over $100,000 with this company over the years, and apparently that means nothing when a customer actually needs help.
I’m now stuck dealing with an unreliable “new” HVAC unit and am being left with no choice but to take my business elsewhere. After the amount of money I’ve spent with this company, I expected a lot more respect, communication, and customer service.
It’s extremely disappointing to see a company seemingly care more about collecting money than standing behind the products they sell and taking care of longtime customers.
Think twice before purchasing from this company. You may find yourself stuck with a defective or unreliable unit and chasing the company for weeks just to get someone to acknowledge the problem.
I sincerely hope someone finally reaches out and explains exactly how and when they plan to replace this “new” unit. Until then, I’ll be taking my business to their competitors thank goodness my home has two units and my Carrier unit which is the oldest unit I have since I moved into the home in the 2000’s hasn’t had one issue.

Trane/American Standardis just a trash ac company in general. I had a house built with a new unit and not even 3 years later my ac motor went out. When the warranty was filed, they sent me a defective part causing me to have to stay in a hotel even longer. Instead of doing the right thing and reimbursing me for having to spend my money on staying in a hotel longer because of THEIR screw up, I’m not eating this cost and my AC is still messed up. It’s all about principle and these guys don’t get it. Do better
