  This is the second time I've used Mother Modern plumbing for our house in Hurst, TX and have been pleased again. This time it was Grant Baker that came and replaced our tub faucet. It was a 40 year old faucet so Grant needed to access it from the wall behind it. He did a great job on the drywall cut to make it easy to replace once done. He was very polite and professional, explained exactly what he needed to do to get the job done. I recommend Grant and Mother Modern for all your plumbing needs.

  Gabriel did a wonderful job of replacing my outside water faucet that had been leaking for some time. He was prompt, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him for his quick service and look forward in working with him in the future. I live in the Irving/Grand Prairie area so his company services the metroplex area. The best thing is I have a 6 year warranty and a brand new frost faucet so if anything happens to it , it will be serviced and replaced for free! The company communicated well ahead of time to schedule and notify me when he was 15 minutes from my home. Coupons are also available and special promotions which helps with the total price.

  Called Mother Modern Plumbing re, sewer odor in master bath. Location Corinth, TX. Easily scheduled appointment for our schedule. Once issue diagnosed (camera used to check after toilet pulled) and After viewing photos, we were provided options to proceed. Not pushy at all. Once work signed off on plumber started same day. Our plumber was Grant Baker, very polite and considerate of our property! All plumbing/sewer lines cleaned throughout house out to the street. All of our toilets (3) and seats were replaced as well as the flanges which were cracked. Completed hydrostatic test when done to ensure no issues. Great communication from our first call to work completed. After photos provided of cleared lines. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend.

  What started out as a simple service call to have two toilets looked at turned into the most ridiculous sales pitch and $22,000 recommendation for plumbing improvements to our home. My son flushed a hair clip down our powder bath toilet and I needed it unclogged and potentially replaced. We had a few other small issues throughout the house that I wanted to have them look at as well. Loose toilets, a slow flushing toilet, a leaking valve behind our fridge, a dated hot water heater, etc. The two guys who came out did a thorough review of the home + were very kind and professional. After reviewing the home, they went outside for 10-15 minutes and returned, preformed a water test (that essentially felt like smoke and mirrors trying to encourage me to ALSO purchase a whole home water filtration system). After being presented with a scalable level of "quotes" I was asked which I'd like to move forward with in that very moment. I informed them I wasn't in a position to make a decision without the go ahead from my husband and that I'd be looking at gathering additional quotes from other plumbers - I asked them for a simple base price to replace a single toilet and they told me $1,100.00 !!!! I have renovated two homes and know this price is absolutely absurd. After all was said and done, I had a second, much more reliable and honest plumber come out the following day, replace the toilet, and repair the other two, and the leaking fridge line for $680.00 total. Parts and labor, at a simple price. In my personal opinion, stay away from Mother, they walk into a house and see dollar signs and potential sales and are looking to SELL you on things you do not need, taking advantage of a stay at home mom rather than helping to solve the problem at hand. Honestly, I think I am due a refund for the $89 service fee I paid.
