From the office staff to the tech, it was a great experience. Fixed the system enough till parts came in and got it back to normal. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

Business With Integrity! I don't often glaze repair businesses (plumbers, auto mechanics, or HVAC companies), but I feel compelled to share my experience with Matco HVAC . Bought a new unit for our downstairs about 15 months ago. Last week it stopped blowing cool air. The compressor and blower are still under warranty, but I was worked about the labor (warrant for which expired just a couple of months ago). After that hefty investment in 2025, I was freaking out that I'd have to pay $1K-2K more to get this thing fixed. But the owner (love working with a family-owned business), did the right thing. The equipment failed and they got a new one under the warranty and waived the labor to fix it. I mean, how often does a business do the right thing? Tyler does. If you need HVAC repairs or a new unit, he'll give you a great price. But even more importantly, he'll do you right.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I paid $150 for a service/diagnostic call and was told that my AC coil needed to be replaced. Based on the diagnosis I paid for, I expected that the system had been properly inspected and that I was being given an accurate explanation of the problem. I ultimately had someone else replace the coil, but when I continued having issues, I had to call another HVAC company. That technician found an additional issue with a faulty/leaking refrigerant line that needs to be replaced—something that was never mentioned during the $150 diagnostic visit. My frustration is that I specifically paid a professional company to diagnose my AC system. Had the refrigerant leak/line issue been properly identified and communicated from the beginning, I could have made a more informed decision about the repairs instead of having to pay for additional service calls and discover another problem afterward. I understand that HVAC systems can have multiple issues, but when a customer pays for a diagnostic service, they should receive a thorough assessment and be informed of the problems that are found. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that I received the level of diagnosis I paid for.

I recently had Matco out for an HVAC inspection, tune-up, refrigerant evaluation, and leak investigation. Chad was my technician, and I cannot say enough good things about him. What stood out most was his honesty and professionalism. Chad spent significant time inspecting the system, crawling through a very hot attic, running tests, documenting his findings, and explaining what he was seeing. He never tried to sell me unnecessary repairs or point me toward expensive guesses. In fact, when he did not find evidence that the issue was HVAC-related, he said so. One thing I especially appreciated was that Chad never seemed eager to deliver bad news or recommend costly repairs. Quite the opposite. You could tell he genuinely wanted to find the simplest and most accurate answer rather than create more work or expense for the customer. That kind of integrity is rare. As a homeowner, I value honesty more than anything. Chad was thorough, ethical, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. He let the facts guide his recommendations and treated my home with respect. While not every investigation ends with an immediate answer, I left feeling confident that Chad had done everything possible to properly evaluate the HVAC system. That's the kind of technician every company hopes to have representing them. Thank you, Chad, for your integrity and professionalism.
