Sun Carpets

In 1983, Gustavo Ganem began working in the flooring industry as an independent contractor doing small jobs and projects under the name Sun Carpets. In just a few years, Gustavo had established himself in the industry through honest and reliable work. Soon, he made the shift from an independent contractor to business owner after beginning steady work in the multi-family industry. For the next 25 years, Sun Carpets became one of the most renowned names in the multi-family industry here in El Paso, Texas. This reputation continued to be that of a dedicated business and industry leader. In 2004, Gustavo’s youngest son, Alex, started working in the business. The following year, his older brother, Gus Jr. joined and both got to work building a commercial division for larger projects. Today, they continue to work together, and the business has steadily grown from a small garage and storage unit to a 30,000 square foot warehouse with 15 employees.
