- DBDon BurlesonAug 18, 20264.0When Christian arrived, he was knowledgeable, friendly and quickly replaced my RO filters, as well as charging my pressure tank. He even wanted to meet my dogs! He was awesome! However, my appointment was for between noon and 4:00 pm; he arrived at 4:45. Evidently he was asked to take over from another tech who was held up on an installation. I understand and appreciate the fact that Kinetico did that. My issue is that there was no communication from their office that a tech would be 45 minutes after my appointment window. I had even called at the beginning of the window and was told my tech would arrive at 3:00. I had errands to run which I could not as I was waiting all afternoon. Had I been told, I could have completed my errands and returned by Christians arrival. A text or call would have been appreciated.

It was confusing as it seemed to us that the date is what is used to determine a new system install. We just wanted it serviced. Kinetico should last 20-30 years. Our system is 12-13 years old. The priced quoted was quoted as 5700. Then 2000 was added on top of it. When I questioned this, we were told it was 'taxes' etc. When I asked to a breakdown of the cost, the app was unable to show it. Eventually, after a call to the office, it was changed. Not impressed. Also, we asked to replace the grid plate in salt tank. I was quoted $78. I informed that is costs $40. No budge. Question - is this the way Kinetico is going to do business? Over charging and deceptive pricing? We are going to install a new system, but feel slighted
