  My experience with Deer Park Glass was disappointing, not because of their pricing, but because of their unprofessional response to a customer making a perfectly reasonable decision. We contacted Deer Park Glass to inquire about the cost of replacing a broken windowpane. As any reasonable customer would, we contacted another business to compare pricing before deciding who to hire. We ultimately chose the other company. When Deer Park Glass called back, we politely informed them that we had decided to have someone else do the work. Unfortunately, that should have been the end of the conversation. Instead, we received another phone call with a voicemail that was unnecessarily rude, sarcastic, and completely uncalled for simply because we chose another company. The message included a complaint about being tired of people shopping around for prices. I have a recording of the voicemail and am prepared to share it so others can hear the interaction for themselves. If Deer Park Glass chooses to respond publicly and attempt to justify this behavior, I will consider posting the recording so that the conversation can be judged in its proper context. This review is not about being upset that we chose another company. It is about how we were treated for making that choice. There is a difference between losing a potential job and treating a potential customer disrespectfully. I hope Deer Park Glass takes this as an opportunity to reconsider how it communicates with people who inquire about its services. Customers should never feel as though they owe a business their money simply because they requested a quote. Based on this experience, I would encourage others to consider not only the price they are quoted, but also how the business treats them when they decide to take their business elsewhere.

  Didn't go with them but man the guy I talked to was super friendly and helpful thanks to him and his supperb customer service

  My experience was 10/10 easily. Answered right away, came very quickly, reasonable price, done within a few hours. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone.

  Absolutely terrible experience with Darrin. We arranged to have a free estimate for solar screens as we were planning on comparing estimates between multiple local companies. We were initially impressed with this company as they were the first to contact us and set up an estimate. Darrin called us and left a voice mail with the quote and told us he hoped we hadn't wasted his time. We thought that was a bit odd but returned his call and let him know we were still waiting on our other estimates and would be in touch soon. He then began screaming at my husband that this was ridiculous and he has run all over town for us (we live 1 mile from this business, so I'm not quite sure what he was referring to). My husband then asked why they offered free estimates when they knew that customer could potentially go elsewhere. Darrin then hung up on him. I followed up by calling back and asked to speak with an owner or manager. Darrin answered the phone and told me to hold on while he got him. He waited 10 seconds and reintroduced himself as the manager. Super professional right! I told him nevermind, I had my answer and would definitely not be doing business with them. He then launches into a tirade about his wasted time and he doesn't have time for my crap. I didn't bother responding and hung up the phone. If this guy is the owner/manager I can't see how he is in business with that attitude.
