  I can't say enough good things about working with Kristian at Grasten Power Technologies. From the first conversation, he went above and beyond to get me the best deal possible. He was upfront, informative, and clearly looking out for my interests. Kristian was always responsive. Whenever I had a question, he got back to me quickly with clear, thorough answers. He knew every part of the project inside and out, which gave me real confidence throughout the process. The whole project was completed in about a month, faster than I expected. The work was professional and well organized from start to finish. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with, I'd highly recommend Kristian and the Grasten Power team. I'd gladly work with them again.

  Very disappointed with our experience with Grasten. During the installation of our Generac generator, several of our irrigation lines were cut, resulting in us having to hire another company to come out and redo the irrigation lines because of the damage. We emailed Grasten to give them an opportunity to address the issue and make it right, using the same email address we had successfully used to coordinate the generator installation and payment. 3 weeks later and we still have yet to receive a response. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue. We also discovered that the exterior water drains were installed upside down. Between the damage, the additional expense we incurred to have another company correct it, the installation issues, and the complete lack of response when we reached out, we are extremely disappointed. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Grasten.

  I am generally not one to complain but this is something that needs to be addressed. When you spend over 20k to get a Generac you expect everything to be reliable and safe. You generally do not question the small things like stepping stone being replaced after they are tore up doing the gas line trench. Those are just things that happen like it or not. But I must say what I am about to describe is a lot more of a safety concern that could of turned out much worse if it would of gone undetected. We have been having a with our A/C system shortly after the Generator was installed. Now mind you that system too is only a couple years old and should not be acting up. So we have went several different occasions throughout the summer where the system just stopped working. So we had the A/C guys come look at it and the replaced a relay switch and said that should fix it. A week later same issue. Fixed. And it started turning into every week I am pulling my emergency room A/C unit out of the closet. We'll I finally on Saturday at 2:30 in the morning figured out that we had a problem much different and I would of never imagined in a million years that it could be related to the generator install. But her goes. They always relocate your inside panel to the outside right off the meter. When doing so every wire is pigtailed and extended so that they can reroute them outside. Well the 50 amp is done a little different you have a much thicker guage the runs into a post and then they take a piece of thin sheet metal and screw it into the old panel box that now is empty so that it passes code. Well the screws that they used to hold that blank sheet metal rubbed into the wire and created a spark that Pearced a hole into the junction box and that got my attention. So we had a electrician come out on Sunday which you know how that goes. Bid fee for it being Sunday. But it is what it is to find out about this safety issue that should of never happened. I graciously tried to call Grasten Technologies this morning but the phone system is horrible and you just keep going around in circles. Finally to get in touch with someone that I told the whole story too and he sent me to service to schedule an appointment. This was a fire case that needed more than a service appointment. This is not what I signed up for. So please beware that contacting them after the sale is definitely a issue. And when you do the attention to the matter was not the best.

  We recently had a Cummins generator for our barndo serviced for start up issues, and a new Generac generator installed for our house. All sales, service, and technicians were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and took time to answer any and all questions and concerns. Adam, service technician, was the most knowledgeable person regarding Cummins generator specifically, more knowledgeable than the actual Cummins service rep who originally installed the equipment. From start to finish, the sales and installation process for our new generator was excellent. Our sales rep was professional, honest, and informative. Once the transaction was complete, we were informed of the install process and timeline. Installation occurred within 10 days. Instal was smooth and we received very clear instructions on how to operate the generator. We are very pleased with the personnel, service and overall experience with Grasten.
