  We had Ark-La-Tex build our 30X50X12 shop on our property. Everyone was extremely professional to deal with. Rick came out to our property four separate times to ensure everything was built with quality and to specs. We have recommended many others to Ark-La-Tex and have not heard anything bad. If you're looking for a quality building that is built right, choose these folks. I'm sure Rick and his team will treat everyone the same way they did us. Great job Team!

  I called Monday to get a quote on a 30x50 shop that I saw advertised on their website at $23k. I git a call from Jay and we went over the particulars of what I was wanting as I did make some changes. I was expecting the quote to be more than the online quote but was a little shocked when it was over $35k. When I emailed back asking for a description of the price difference is when things went south. Jay became very abrupt and would not under any circumstances send me a breakdown of what the extra money was going for. he started rambling off nmubers of how i added doors and windows and raised the height but when I again said I wanted a detailed description of what the costs were he stated they do not do that and their price is what it is. I refuse to do business with someone who is obviously trying to hide something. why else would you refuse to give a simple breakdown on price.

  Slower start than originally planned. We purchased a metal building as living quarters. Build went quick once started. Building is nice and looks to be what was expected. Down side to dealing with this company... *no professional plans or blueprint of any sort were offered to us. Our sales person made a drawing with a sharpie. We provided a professional plan which we created and printed at home showing where we wanted windows and doors. *workers cut branches of oak trees and did not spray cut ends with anything, not to mention it was not the appropriate time of year to cut oak. *workers left trash in yard: shirt tucked into tree, left over boards with nails sticking out, iron posts sticking out of ground, boards used as markers sticking out of ground & drink bottles. 1st email to owner asking them to clean up resulted in a response stating they did. 2nd email sent to let him know it was not done resulted in no response.. *walking on and throwing boards on retaining wall caused some of the main rocks to shift which damaged structure of wall * we have since learned of the corners that were cut due to us being out of city limits. No plywood was installed under metal roof, header boards were joined together and not notched into main beams, no vents in attic area, smaller lag bolts were used instead of appropriate size to bear weight of roof. We chose to have our framer make appropriate fixes. Overall we are happy with the structure, but what this company lacks is professionalism and customer service & communication skills.

  I'll never use them again.....I drove to their office back in March 2016 and told them I wanted a building built by the end of June 2016.....As of 10 Aug 2016 I have a frame ( one days work) and a slab (also, one days work)....I was told back in June my building was next to be built......This company has cost me many hundreds of dollars in extra storage fees. Also, the pad they graded was larger than necessary and not level.....costing me an additional $600. The time I've wasted waiting for them to complete this job is immersureable. On a happier note....all their workers are very nice guys, and do a great job.....Just FINISH!
