Hired to install standby generator 11/23. Website states will get all permits and documents for compliance. 2-1/2 years later was told my generator was not properly installed, poses a severe gas infraction (city gas company verified), gas line was not the correct size and was another issue and electrical was incorrect. No city permits were issued and was the home owner’s responsibility although their site clearly states they get it. Electrical lines were not buried to code, gas line too small, not hard pipe on exterior, and strung across attic un-supported (all severe code violations) and at risk of (leaks and explosion). Contacted owner (Rick) who will not return, correct or even reply once I stated the city planning and Code enforcement was notified and inspected. Completely lied and said permits were not required due to Covid. City Planning Board verified not true! He will take your money, use deceptive website, leave your home, family and insurance in harms way. Since no permits, your home owners insurance would not cover an explosion or electrical fire caused by his install. I am now paying another company a nice sum to ensure my home, family and generator is to code and safe to operate. If you do hire (I wouldn’t) get a copy of his insurance (verify) copy of his electrical license (verify) and copy of whoever the plumber was that will run your line (verify), And physical see your permits and call it in to ensure it isn’t a fake. Im sure I am not the only homeowner he has done this to and will be filing a civil suit to ensure others are not in danger. I have afforded him multiple times to return and correct everything, but he choses to ignore and not honor his work, and clearly shows me he wouldn’t care if some catastrophic happened to my home and family or yours!

Rick, Gerardo, and their Centex Generator team installed our home generator today. They were timely, professional, and spent the time to ensure we understood how it works. My husband is disabled and this is a huge comfort knowing we won't lose our electricity during outage. From the quote to the install, they were easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

The installation crew busted their butts getting my generator installed in 100° heat. They were very knowledgeable when they explained everything and answered my questions. I highly recommend Centex Generators for anyone or business looking for a generator.
